Thanks for your thoughts 1886...
I am not in compulsory education, but I am doing A-Levels, so in education. I'm not doing for a reason like going into journalism, but it's more to help my English A-Level, writing is a very weak point for me, so I decided that to write a blog may help me improve.
I do understand what you mean by fusing the two topics of Arsenal and music being a bad idea. The reason for that was that like you there are well established and a hell of a lot of blogs based around Arsenal. So by fusing it with music I thought it may invite two different groups of readers.
The reason why I posted here was to see the response to my writing, which I thought had improved, but thankfully you guys have opened my eyes and told me I really need to try harder and improve, I thank all of you for that.

Good luck with your blog.
Do whatever you like with it.
It is a blog, which means it is the thoughts of the writer and if you want to mix music and football then by all means do so.
But read other blogs.
See which ones you find easy to read, and which ones you find an interesting read.
Understand why that is, and incorporate these elements into your own writing style.
