why are we not buying shay given???

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

36 is not old for a top class keeper, also would be great for ws to train along side a proper keeper rather than laurel and hary,

and is waaaaaaaay past his best
Just like 41 year old Van Der Saar was last season

I would have 61 year old Stevie Wonder in goal infront of Flappy
van der saar always was and always will be one step ahead of shay given.

you don't have to compare him to anyone, just look at himself - shay given was a top top goalkeeper, nowadays he is past his best.

if we bought him, i'd prefer if he stayed on the bench as i think szczesny is already a better keeper. and why would we buy someone on such massive wages to sit on the bench?
