Serves 9?
No wonder you're not on here much CC
I'm cooking it now, except with chicken. Typing it out made me fancy it tonight
Extended family seems to gravitate to mine at meal times. I would complain but I like to see their fat little content faces

I just sort of guess, grab a bunch of everything and fill the pot 3/4 full.
If it is a pot about a foot tall and a foot in diameter, it will serve two people with healthy appetites.

Three or four eggs. Half an onion. About three medium potatoes.
Chop the onion into small cubes the potatoes into slices.
Pan fry the onions with a bit of olive oil till golden brown. Stick em in a bowl.
Then fry the potatoes, with just about enough olive oil to almost cover them. Fry em till they break when you poke em reasonably lightly with a wooden spoon.
Then crack the eggs, beat em till a consistent liquid forms. Salt to taste.
Pour eggs, onion, potatoes into non-stick frying pan with good amount of olive oil. Theres your tortilla. When the outside/bottom is a pleasing light brownish colour, flip it. when it's done eat, either warm or cold. Here's some serving suggestions and a video:

Thing I love is you can eat it with whatever you want, make it with whatever you want, keep it in the fridge, eat it hot or cold, any time of day. My favourite is either with Jamon Serrano hot for breakfast or with mayonasa cold for a snack. Lovely.
It an omellete.

But much better. Sorry the link's in Spanish I was reading it and that explains why I didn't spell 'mayonnaise' right. I'm not going all USMatrin on you

Hanging my head in shame

Have I let the heterosexual side down? I forgot the only time a straight man can cook is:

Have to laugh at Bren's curry "recipe"!

"Buy some curry paste and throw it in a pot with tomatoes and chicken".
My wife's a chef and she would stab you for making a curry that way, Bren. You (apparently) have got to start with garam masala, chopped chillis, garlic etc. Using shop-bought paste is VERY frowned upon by the chef fraternity.

Don't mention the war!!
It's a constant battle ground in our house. I love a good dollop (steady Jayson...

) of ketchup on most things and it really upsets her chef sensibilities!! Sometimes I'll splapp on the ketchup even when I don't fancy it just to wind her up...
