Sadly this is so true.
He was spot on with his 'theory' for years, although it couldn't be proved.
Then he was proved correct, as the Board sold out.
I can't quite work out now what happened then, as he should just have taken the applause and left the building, but sadly there is now an encore - without any content.
Also my first and last post in this thread - until some new evidence appears.

I think as CC said, if you go back some years on this board, there was already some debate about the board and their intentions...sadly, Martin's time has gone, and his inability to recognise Wenger's complicity stretches his credulity beyond breaking point.

But it's not like most of us didn't know they would eventually do that. And anyway, if a bunch of rich business people want to sell their private shares to other rich people, what the hell were we supposed to do about it? This is the thing that I've tried in the past to get across to Martin.
Yes we could have had a letter writing campaign or protests outside and inside the ground (as there were when the old North Bank was knocked down and I'm sure when the idea of leaving Highbury was first mooted) and that worked out well, didn't it?
Ultimately, and this is the crucial point that Martin just has to accept, what could we really have done about it all? The answer is 'the square root of fuck all' for the reasons given above!! Despite the unfairness of it all and horrible as it is to admit, it's 'their' club in the strictest sense of the word. We're 'just' fans and have little impact on the decisions they make, be it the Board or Wenger himself.

So what happens in here then?
If Martin makes a board post somewhere else does a mod copy and paste it in here or just delete the offending post from the thread?
Or is Martin supposed to write in here every time he reads something somewhere that he wants to reply to in a board related post?
If it is either, well it's not going to work is it and precious sticky space should be used for something else, like
oh I don't know
NFL baby.

I'll get the ball rolling.
Its Wengers fault that we haven't spent cash since 2005 - in the pursuit of his project.

By and large it is.
There was some belt tightening around the season when we opened the stadium and the following season.
There was a scare when a big buyer pulled out of buying about 40% of the Highbury flats, but sales now show the redevelopment has made a profit.
But even if the total amount of money to spend was reduced, it was Wenger who chose to buy poor players such as Squillachi and Eboue etc.
And more to the point, gave these players long contracts, and stick with them when their form was nothing special.
And it is Wenger who chose not to ask Keown to keep coaching defence after 2006.
