Relegation.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

With no quality signings i think we'll have 6 points from our first 8 games at best, that Will leave us in the bottom 6-8 teams.

4th place is not even an option at this point. Hell, even Europa league is not even possible. Relegation battle here we come.

I'm a huge pessimist, but talk of relegation is fucking stupid

We'll be 4th or 5th. But there will be a MUCH bigger gap from 1st --> us this season.

4th you are kidding. I said before a ball was even kicked we wouldnt finish top 4.We finished 4th WITH Cesc and Nasri.Top 3 are miles ahead of us and the Victims have shown what happens when you do spend money

talk of 4th or 5th is far more fucking stupid than relegation. we are closer to relegation than to 4th or 5th. open your fucking eyes.

Ok, so we've regressed slightly, but where are these teams going to come from to put us in the bottom half of the table? Are the likes of Villa and Everton suddenly going to get good? Or are Spurs going to have another once-a-decade seasons where they actually do quite well?

I appreciate we've been awful this season, but the only team who are realistically likely to finish above us are the dippers - and they have a lot of ground to make up.

If We*ger is here till the end of the season then I'd say relegation is a distinct possibility. We've only won one league game in the last 15. If that is not relegation form I don't know what is.

Relegation? Nope... mid table mediocrity? Yes.

Liverpool will replace us as 4th and we'll end up replacing them on channel five.

7th or 8th is likely with Wenger still in charge and no decent signings.
Top 4 is obvious. Man U, Man C, Chavs, Scousers.
We won't be within 6 points of 4th. That means we'll be fighting with the likes of Spurs, Stoke, Villa etc.
It comes to something when Stoke are showing more ambition than Arsenal!

Think you underestimate just how hopelessly shite the squad is mate.

Save for 4-5 players, we're not even midtable level.
