Wenger Post-match

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Why doesn't Wenger just quit, he would definitely get my respect back if he did, he seems to be staying around longer than the mother-in-law, if he just quit and cited the reasons he could just about leave with his head held high.... it does seem,to me, like he's creating this whole situation on purpose... :?

A new manager can bring some fucking life back into the squad. Sort out that fucking defense. Get us playing with some fucking passion and commitment. Employ some proper fucking tactics.

he said he hadn't thought about quitting when he was asked directly...but just before that, (forgot exactly what he said now) but he did make some form of hint that he has thought about quitting....

did anyone else pick up on this?

Again Wenger proved he living and watching a different world than we are....For those who didn't witness the mid-seventies and early eighties Arsenal well you just got a taste of it today.

True but you can dry it out, compact it and use it as a makeshift bludgeon. If you see what i mean.

Anyone thought that Gary Cahill probably doesn't even want to sign for us anymore?

Aside from Wenger, Where is Gazidis? Where is Kroenke? What are they doing? What are they saying?

substitutions reminded me a bit of the (alledged) fact that in hitlers last days, he was moving imaginary battalians round the map, telling his generals to move this non existant unit here and that non existant unit there, unable to admit to himself that there was nothing left.
i wouldn't be suprised if he said to chamberlain, as he was about to go on, "right freddie, bobby's coming off now the 3 points are safe. i'm gonna leave dennis on for the 90, but might take thierry off to be on the safe side".
