They signed him for (I think) £9m when he was 28 and Redknapp was complaining then that his sell on value would be low. Now all of a sudden he is surplus to requirements, hasnt been a success, is 30, and they think they can get £12m. Stupid c**ts. No wonder they're now stuck with a massive squad and huge wage bill, they seem to think its impossible for a Spurs players value to go down over time regardless of how shit he's been, hence they price people out of moves that would generate transfer funds and ease their wage bill.
Not that we need to worry, the thought of Crouch's bird allowing him to move to Sunderland is a laugh in itself. Also linked with Pavlyuchenko, although no doubt they want shit loads for him anarl. TBH I'd rather have Bendtner than either of them,
