Have you ever played on a Professional Football Club pitch?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've been on the pitch at White Hart Lane.

Along with thousands of other Gooners. 1971. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Have had a kickabout on the pitch at non-league Borehamwood.

I've graced the turf at the County Ground (Swindon Town FC).

My best mate played at the Luzhniki Stadium (CSKA Moscow) :tickedoff:

Played against Sp*rs for Medway Council in a charity match at Priestfield (Gillingham FC) - 1000 fans, missed a sitter - most memorable moments were being put in the stand in the first 5 minutes by Mark Falco - then when they got denied an obvious penalty he said to me... "somebody's going to get hurt now..." :redcard:

Also played against Hollyoaks at a non-league ground - most memorable for it ending in a draw and Ricky Whittle insisting on a penalty shoot out as "we don't do draws"... and then we won... :barscarf:

I was playing for Finance (lots of old boys) against Marketing (lots of whipper snappers) in an inter-departmental match......and we won 5-1......! Loved it!
Saw Barnet play MK Dons there. Barnet went down to 9 men after 30 minutes, and finished with 8. I think they were trying to play hockey rules.
 !

I saw Arsenal Reserves play there - I was managing a kids team at the time and the press boys set it up for us meet David Bentley as he'd played for the same club.....he was already an arrogant w*nk*r even then! Also saw Dons play Spuds there in the Carling Cup.

The only other pitches I've been on were Highbury (v Villa 1981) and the Grove (first night of Springsteen).

Bentley has always been a twat. My brother has some mutual friends. Always arrogant as fuck. Same as Lansbury. Lansbury is on £25k per week. FACT.

So jealous. Soooo jealous.

This is probably the closest I'll ever get:

It's our intramural turf field behind the University :(

Played at Anfield and scored in the Michael Thomas goal.
It was a stewards tournament held at Liverpool the day befor the old Kop was demolished. Roy Evans was the manager and we lost in the semi final to Norwich City. The goal i scored was against Manchester City.

I have also with the stewards played at Highbury numerous times and have the pleasure of scoring in both goals.

Other grounds I have played are Loftus Road (QPR), Adams Park (Wycombe), Elm Park (Old Reading), Carrow Road (Norwich), Elland Road (Leeds Utd), Burnden Park (Bolton old) and Meadow Lane (Notts County).

In 1990 i played at Stamford Bridge for Maidenhead Utd in the FA Youth Cup in a game we lost 1-5.

Played on Galway United's pitch. And Croke Park many years ago, before recent redevelopment of it.
