Arsenal v Shrewsbury

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've been mugged off haven't I.
You know you only get free beer at half time! Name dropper.
I'm going with Roly in Club Level. See you there. 8)
Yeah I do. I bet it's like a speed competition isn't it?

We'll meet up if you like, bitch and moan together.
I'll be in CL as usual. :?

Would be up for a meet to bemoan our half time deficit

I hope and pray that we put a semi strong team out and lose.

Expect to see Park make his debut along with Ox.
You think Wenger coaches defence?
Is Steve Bould not part of the youth set-up at the club? Can Wenger not ask for his input for an hour or so every day? It aint rocket science ffs :banghead:

Hasn't Bould been part of the youth set up for a good long while now, say 5 years or more?

Surely he would have had his chance with the likes of Djourou/Clichy/Gibbs in the youths over their pre first team years. And they're still shit at defending. :?

He's too much of an arrogant *word censored* to ask for anyone's input.

Hmmm, but doesn't Steve Bould's teams at Arsenal play exactly the same way as Wenger's :? Yes, Bould is a legend, but perhaps Bould's views on football have been influenced too much by Wenger to be of any assistance.. just an opinion.. :?

Well in that case, we have nothing but misery for years ahead if we stick with Wenger.

I just think people don't want to get sacked. I mean are you telling me Bould can't see how poorly we are in defence? Why has he not said anything? Probably because he think he'll be out on his ear if he did. Which he probably would be. Too many yes men there.

We clearly saw when Wenger was banished to the stands just how shockingly inept Pat Rice is. Staring up at Wenger like a pleading pup. So after years as the number 2 at Arsenal he has learned nothing.

Rice won't help change anything.

Look who he is meant to be taking direction from, Wenger, he obviously is clueless as well. So no hope there either.

It would never happen but George Graham would be ideal to sort out that shambles at the back.

Least he got a point in Dortmund.

Thing is City's second string is better than our firsts, so this competition is seemingly meaningless to even try and compete in
