Stuck on 39.... Should be ok.franksav63 wrote:I want a ticket, I probably haven't enough credits to get one... plenty of antique shops in Norwich... may just go up there anyway without a ticket and hope one turns up....mikeyb772001 wrote:Who wants my member number? Worth the trip. I got a ticket for Orient away 5 minutes before kick-off last season. That had sold out at 55+ and were rare as rocking horse shite!

I queued up for four hours in the freezing cold having gone to Arsenal that day, got my ticket in the home end at quarter past twelve in the morning. Got back in at about 2am. And we didn't even win.

And a rather large cabbie. I stayed in my seat but openly celebrated when we scored, as did many around me. Lads around me were old school West Ham (just there for the game mind) and Bristol Rovers. Was funny to see all the faces I'd waited in line with around me.frankbutcher wrote:Yeah, in the away end. It was pretty much all away scheme in there.SWLGooner wrote:In the away end? Ha ha. We were shite on the day. Knew they'd score. Wenger out-thought again.SWLGooner wrote:And a rather large cabbie. ....Done a bit of sniffing about ..and this seems to come up on a lot of footie sites as being the away fans pub
The Compleat Angler
This is a popular choice with away fans, if you're travelling by train you can't miss it as it's directly in front of the train station (just over the river). This is a big pub featuring a large balcony overlooking the river, and it's usually full of away support on match days (since the Clarence Harbour closed). There's a good selection of beers and good food, and it's about a fifteen minute walk (at most) to the ground.
Please note: There is a KFC just a few doors down, so you can easily grab something to eat and walk to the ground.

Norwich is a top place, lived there for a couple of years and a really good night out. Wen't to the 4-2 game mentioned earlier - seem to recall we were 2-0 down at half time and scored 4 in first 15 mins of second half. Season ticket holder but not enough away credits I fear - my son really wants to go to this but reckon we'll miss out. Boo!
