It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

He was being ironic.

All I felt was sympathy for ****, until he asked for his donation to Charlie! Charlie!'s memorial fund back. Then it turned to deep contempt.

That's what did it for me. The memorial fund and respect this place showed after the tragic loss of CharlieCharlie must have demonstrated to GoonerEd and MJF that, in spite of it being a pain in the arse from time to time, this place is worth something. More importantly, it seemed to mean something to CCs family.

Then that self-centered idiot does that.

Oh yes there is that too, the bloke offered absolutely nothing in terms of Arsenal discussion. The best he could manage was asking for wenger to be hung or given a job for life depending on whether we'd won or lost our last match.

To be honest I was saddened when we had to ban ****. I thought he was a funny guy on here and enjoyed reading some of his off the cuff remarks. But the nasty shit he wrote about Flash's dad showed me another side of him and I was very dissapointed by it. I tried to get him to cool off and cut the shit but he seemed intent on fucking himself up on here.

But when he asked for his donation to ChazX2's memorial fund to be returned I was disgusted. There's low and then there's that.

I never knew much about him but I saw the things he said about flash's dad, the fact he DELETED BY GOONER ED AS UNSUBSTANTIATED ALLEGATION and the way he conducted himself on here. He's a sad lonely man, I actually have to say I feel sorry for the poor prick. I hope he gets back on his feet and stops acting bitter on the internet.

Spot on. I quite liked ****- he obviously wasnt the full shilling like but then having people that are a bit, well, different shall we say makes the world a more interesting place. He had his moments where he seemed to have a bit of a breakdown and I felt sorry for him because I thought he was a genuinely nice bloke who probably needed some help. Then there was the stuff about Flash's dad and that changed my opinion of him, it was a level that you dont stoop to. I'm sure at some point I'll end up having some form of heated argument on here about something (all it takes is for one of the two parties to have a bit much to drink, something to be said that another person takes offence to etc, easily done when you support a different club) but no matter how pissed you are at the time, you just wouldnt stoop to a level like that if youre a decent human being.

Then as you say, asking for the donation to the memorial fund to be refunded was just disgusting. The bloke had actually sent me a PM a good while before saying how great it was that someone who wasnt even a gooner would want to donate so to see him then turn around and withdraw his donation because he had made an arse of himself and didnt want to go back on the forum was a disgrace and I was very disappointed with the bloke tbh. People use forums for a while then they drift away for all sorts of reasons but even if there was some massive fallout, I cant see how it would make anyone so cold that they'd withdraw what was a donation to help remember a good lad and fellow gooner who used to post here. It was just incredibly heartless and showed that he wasnt just a bit of a character who was a bit depressive but a good lad who needed help, it showed him to be an absolute arsehole who the place is much, much better without.

This will be the last time I ever comment on him, for what he did just prior to and upon leaving the forum he is beyond contempt and we're better not to even mention him. He can go on the official forum and slag this place off all he wants, the fact is the people on here are a hell of a lot better than he is and I would imagine the people on the official forum would also be disgusted by him if they'd read his posts and heard about withdrawing a donation which could have really hurt the family and friends of charlie x 2 at a time when they needed support.

ok - just to clarify, no unsubstantiated allegations against **** can be allowed on the forum as - it is just possible - such stuff could see us taken offline for legal reasons. i know people have their opinions and beliefs but unless you can prove them, then please do not repeat them on a publicly accessible forum. even in humour. if people can't realise the importance of this, then they pose a threat to the forum and we may have to ban them, which we do not like doing, but sometimes needs must.

I always got on well with ****, it should be remembered that many times he tried to act as a peacemaker on here when others had flare ups.
I liked his "Where am I?" threads and felt sorry for him when he had his domestic and health problems.
He used to add humour to the Forum in his own "Look at me in my pants" way.

Of course I was not at all happy with what he said regarding Flash and the subsequent mess with the donation etc.

I can only guess **** was in a very bad place at that time and lost perspective, that as Henry Norris says he was in a bad way and lashed out on here.
**** needs to take stock of how he acted and ask himself why he got into such a dark place.

No doubt **** owes Flash a huge apology and also to Charlie's family, and can learn lessons from the whole episode.
But there should be room for that apology to be made.

I also used to enjoy ****'s posts, though unfortunately I don't think an apology from **** would be worth anything.
He has had too chequered a history on here and I think that he would be forgiven only to do something similar again afterwards.
I'm afraid it's goodbye and good riddance as far as I am concerned.
