i'll take a point, then look at the dross we have afterwards - baggies(H), Norwich(A), Fulham (H), Wigan (A), Everton (H) before we go to city in Mid December then Villa (A) and Wolves and Rangers (H).

Top three on New Years Day i reckon

Vilas Boas has been moaning about referees all season (like Dalglish and Fergie its mindgames, not whinging like our boss © Talksport) so i think we are going to get stiffed here.

Not so sure think it might actually work in our favour. If you look back to last season with our home game against everton where cesc was allegedly supposed to have accused everton of paying the ref,the following game we played against newcastle 4-4 phil fat *word censored* dowd gave 2 of the softest penalties you will ever see against us plus after sending off diaby for trying to slap barton failed to send off barton or nolan (not sure which) for picking chesney off the ground by the neck. They all stick together so dont know if they will take kindly to his criticism. But we will see.

I'm genuinely surprised to see people thinking we can get a point here. Seriously. We couldn't get a point at bloody Ewood Park!!! Stamford Bridge? Torres will kill Mert and Kos imo I'm afraid. Defeat here, love to be proved wrong with a win though.

Thats the beautiful thing about football mate you dont actually know. No-one had city down to beat united 6-1 and no-one had QPR down to beat the chavs. Personally i think the odds are well stacked against us but who knows :barscarf:

just wait til later in the week. i'm sure we'll all get more negative about it. the more i think about a game like this the more i come up with reasons why we'll fail. a win would be so massive though!!! :banghead: :barscarf:

Torres will get claustrophobia from spending too long in Kos/Mert's pockets.

I still expect us to lose though, we'll concede something from a set piece or a deflected lumpard punt

I actually agree with Babatunde on this one.

lets face it we have little chance on Sunday. it is one of our 3 toughest games of the whole season.

this doesn't alter my view that we will make the top 4 this season, I just think we have to be realistic in games like this. Few teams come away with anything from Stamford Bridge. If we get anything it is a bonus.

Just like QPR did, we need to get in there faces and rough them up a bit!

Our hard, physical players like.............

Oh hang on!

Although we've hit a good run of form if we flop at the bridge next week, it will be 0 points out of liverpool, united, spuds and the chavs so far. Until we can start getting points out of these sides on a regular basis, it's alright beating the likes of stoke and bolton but what's the point if we can't beat the so called big sides?

To be fair we did that at home last year, not roughing them up as this lot couldn't rough up a team of Brownies but we did press them hard and got the win.

They will be on edge after QPR, worst thing would be if they score early, if we score early they will lose it.

Because the league is 3 pts for a win against all teams.

Can't go into this one with any expectation after recent visits to the Stamford Bridge. Chelsea aren't doing too badly as well, yes they lost to QPR but were unlucky not to get at least a point with just 9 men

There may a difference in tactics this time. Previously they have allowed us possession, kept it tight at the back and then used their quality up front to punish us. Villas Boas may not want to play that way, he may think he can out pass us (we aren't anywhere near as slick in that area of the game as we have been) so it might open up for us. You never know, especially with RvP in the form he is we could nick something.

I'll be incognito in the Matthew Harding stand - sing loud boys I want you to drown out the knuckle-draggers that'll be around me:

- Stick the blue flag up your arse
- Ashley Cole is a fucking Arsehole, he's a fucking arsehole...etc
- Chelsea wherever you may be, you aint got no history
- 10 men went to bed, went to bed with Ashley

Leave out the 1 Arsene Wenger though.

Referee is Andre Marriner. Not a bad ref IMO.
