Why not call Arsenal’s stadium The Armoury? (4/12)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I call it "The Grove". Simple.

However, I don't mind it being called Emirates Stadium, but I really don't like commentators and whatnot calling it 'The Emirates'. For some reason, it really makes my skin crawl.

i say the arsenal, or the grove, alternativly i call it the home of football, or sometimes even highbury :lol: 8)

How bizarre! I'd noticed this yesterday on looking up to see whether the Steaua game had sold out (which it now has) and saw that they'd called it Arsenal Stadium. On reading your comment I checked what it says for Chavski and, sure enough, it reverts back to Emirates!
