Jack on Mourinho's shopping list

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

People saying Wilshere ain't good enough to get in the Real Madrid side are possibly the same ones who claimed that Fabregas would be nothing but a sub at Barca.

If you watch the system Real Madrid play, what they are missing is a playmaker in the Xavi mould who can pick the lock, whilst playing further forward. They have Ozil of course, who is top quality but is playing as more of a number 10.

Lassana Diarra will leave almost certainly next summer, meaning Alonso will play the deep-seated holding role (as he does now) and meaning that Wilshere can be the Xavi-style midfielder just ahead of him. The Madrid midfield is one of their less outstanding areas imo, Coentrao is a full-back playing in midfield for instance etc...Wilshere is definitely good enough to play for them.

Once a red Always a Red.

Like Cashley, or like Wayne 'Once a Blue, always a Blue' Rooney

jw: RVP is my captain and I will be yours one day so show me some respect Frimmers!

Xabi Alonso won't play the deep seated role, whilst Khedira is there - and surely at this moment in time - Jack isn't good enough to get in a team that has Di Maria, Ozil, Khedira, Xabi Alonso, Kaka and Sahin - Jack will be class, but a move now would be a bad move for him
