Tonights matches

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Oh of course, the strikes
 why the fuck would a strike make it hard to get to the match? I presume buses and tube is still running? Quality support for PAOK like, wish we had something like that in England, want them to win anyway but especially because of their fans

Incredible support. Hate to break it to you lot though, that's orchestrated by a bloke at the front with a megaphone
dont mind foreign clubs doing orchestrated support, just sounds odd when its in england, but I do wish we had fans that actually, to a man, made a noise.

Have no problem with a bloke with a megaphone starting the chants, just as long as it isnt like spain where the bloke sings the whole song with it

Trouble with the english support is that by the time a song gets going and most people start singing it, it just dies out again!

We sang one at the lane, thing it was arsene wenger's red army (we hate t*ttenham) and actually kept it going for longer than five seconds and it sounded loud once everyone got going.

Guess some fans just take a while to catch on to what's being sung and by the time the whole stand is on it, the song has finished

Incredibly harsh decision- the commentators saying "well it did hit his hand". Aye, but fuck me his arm was by his side and he was moving it behind his back to keep it out of the way, how in the fuck can he give that

I thought now they were such a "big club" they only played kids in the Channel 5 Cup - funny I swore I saw Modric score the penalty plus Lennon and Defoe just now
