that would be the best thing for us. much as you deslike bendtner, i'm sure you'll agree he contributes more than chamakh. nic does score in at least every four or five matches he plays in, while chamakh couldn't score in brazilian's carnaval even if he was the only man on the whole party

Chamakh's ratio is similar though.......he touches the ball in every four or five matches that he plays in

Of course Chamakh wouldn't score if he was the only man at the Carnaval... Goes without saying, doesn't it?

Must I say it again ? Billy big bollox has scored 2 fcuking goals for the mackems despite being their main striker - how does that make better than chamakh ? Someone posted a stat on here yesterday showing that chamakh had only played something like a few hundred minutes in 2011 so how he can be expected to match bendtner when he is only getting a few mins here or there is beyond me - dont get me wrong cos I totally agree chamakh aint good enough and needs to be moved on but this reincarnation of bedtner is embarassing to say the least
Martin O'neill one of the biggest fruitcakes in the football world
he will take you to the dizzy heights of 6th in the league, get you too a couple of cup semi finals - and then you will switch on sky sports news and they will report - O'Neill walks out on Sunderland
enjoy it mate, whilst it lasts - but he is a bottle job, like Keegan and Coppell

Trust me mate, I'll fucking take that. If he gets us 6th, it'll probably mean the first European adventure in my lifetime, we've been shite in the cups for years (this year in the league cup out to Brighton in the first game we played, last year in the FA Cup out at home to Notts County in the first game we played). If he gets us 6th with some cup semi finals he can leave if he wants and we'd get another good manager, with Bruce we were just going downwards and genuinely facing relegation. Its probably quite easy to forget exactly how much one 6th place would mean to Sunderland fans- it would be our highest league finish for over half a century!

Bit harsh no? He brought Celtic as far as he could given funds available and turned their fortunes, open to correction but did he not do same for Leceister? Villa job was going well too until things broke down there and didn't he have a constructive case going against Lerner?
I think he is/would be a massive signing for Sunderland

http://sc1sports.com/martin-oneill-mackem-messiah/ This is a good article from a Villa fan which mentions a lot of things about why O'Neill left and why he shouldnt be criticised for his Villa exit- if its right that he was being told to sell players and the money wasnt being reinvested then he's got every right to turn around and walk out, some managers would hang around for a pay off but O'Neill doesnt seem to be purely motivated by money. He did very well at Leicester and Celtic (and Wycombe) and I certainly wouldnt call him a bottler. This is a massive job for him assuming its all tied up over the weekend- do well and the once mooted Man Utd job might just open up for him when Ferguson goes, he's running out of time to be remembered as one of Britains best managers and this might just make him even more motivated to succeed with us. Fingers crossed anyway, we certainly couldnt realistically have got anyone better
One thing's for certain my Mackem friend there will be no love lost between our teams in future. O'Neill couldn't resist his little dig at the GIC on ITV the other week and they've had their fall outs in the past.
So after Arsene's accused you of being a long ball team in a few months time, and O'Neill starts biting back, you'll have the Red Action boys after you if you start getting behind O'Neill too much...
...and that's even more frightening than bumping into Herd in full Stone Island attire

dont worry mate, red action boys sounds like a group of perverts who like going down on their lasses when they're on the rag, i'm sure we wont be too concerned (oooh, first shot across the bow is taken )

We'll be sending Herd round much more of that cheek. Herd - trainers & burberry cap on mate and call for the Staffie
We're so near to getting the manager that I've wanted for years. I've actually been depressed recently and thought it was work related, I was near to leaving the place, but then we sacked Bruce and O'Neills linked and I'm so fucking happy.
He's coming, 20m to spend in january, gan on Martin
O’Neill has told friends he is overjoyed at the thought of managing the club he supported as a boy in Northern Ireland – and the financial demands he has made are to be met.
An SAFC fan in the dugout, I'm in fucking heaven, the fact hes one of Britains best managers of the last 30 years just adds to it!
By the way, did they say appointed on Saturday? Its after 12 so thats officially today- forgive me lads, but I'm going to post this cos it sums up me feelings now i'm drunk and loving it! Mix this with you lads winning the title or champions league and it'll be a mint year! Its still possible
Welcome to the club you've always supported Martin O'Neill, Clough said he'd walk over broken glass to manage us, the club he loved, and it never happened due to board incompetence, but the Clough of this generation is finally here at last- thank you multi billionaire Ellis Short, and most of all thank you Niall Quinn for loving us and never giving up- I'd honestly give my fucking life for Quinny, I'd never let anyone say a bad word about him, hes a fucking angel. I'm so fucking excited, Clough and O'Neill, we really do get some good fans!
