A genuine question to the Wenger Out supporters....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

no.

i wouldn't be surprised if we signed a complete unknown, with a PhD in physics and administration who would make the most profitable signings in the world. and who had never played or managed football before.

the board and the owners see one thing - cash. that's what matters to them.

they would NEVER sign a manager famous for making big money signings like mourinho. as long as we are profitable, they will be happy.

that said, i'm not sure if that guy would do much worse than wenger

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Maybe we can meet up some thursday nite at a european match and discuss it. 8)

I wouldn't trust the Board to find their own arses in the dark.

I have issues with AW, but I detest the invisible Board that we've ended up with. If a manager is not leading the club in the right way it's the responsibility of the Board to do something about it.

I think it's time for AW to go, but I'd only be happy if a top class manager was brought in, and they're pretty thin on the ground.
Although unlikely, I don't think it's impossible that Guardiola could be persuaded and the board should be working on that now. However, I suspect they're too busy counting their cash.

The reason I brought this up was the fact that people think that Wenger Out is some sort of answer to all our problems.

Look at all the shit player on great wages.....true, but is it Wenger who signs off on these deals?

Who is it who continues to "supposedly" back Wenger and his (their?) transfer policy....giving Wenger an amazing salary yet are unable to do the same with players.

I personally have no faith in our board whatsoever....and that includes replacing the manager.

Wenger makes the salary decisions. He has far too much control over all facets of the club.

And yes I would trust them to sign someone better than AW/

Gazidis said in the meeting with the AST that Wenger has the final say on buying players and their wages didn't he? Wenger tells Gazidis who he wants, Gazidis approaches the owning club and returns to Wenger with the selling clubs valuation, Wenger then says yes or no from there.
Wenger is given the final say on everything!

You believe what ivan says?

Have you ever heard wenger say it?

Id like to see the quote from Ivan to be honest, but again IF true it just proves that ivan and the board allow him to do this...their decision.

Really? I'm amazed. Men without a decent contact in European football between them....

I don't think I'd trust Gazidis to replace the petty cash tin

If true it just proves that Wenger signed a load of shit and paid them too much. Thats what it proves to me.......?
