Well said Frank. Way too much dead wood.franksav63 wrote:I posted in the summer that we should have gone for Friedel, who would have been a great number 2 for us. (note he only initially went to the Spuds as a number 2).
I hope that Chez does improve, but Wenger has managed to create a squad where there's no competition as it may kill this player, or kill that player, the whole club needs to be swept clean of these wankers, who are happy to see out their fat contracts, sitting on their arse either on the treatment table or the bench. Competition improves players, this maybe where Chez fails as there's no one to push him at all and he remain at this current level for some time.

I reckon Almunia should be considered as a serious alternative should Wenger not buy another keeper this month. Almnunia's record is much better than Chesney's I'm afraid to say

He actually said on another thread we need to sign a GK ahead of anywhere else or some shit. The *word censored* should be banned. He obviously isn't a gooner.brazilianGOONER wrote:he IS a windup merchant, but i guess this time this was tongue in cheek ladskingjayson1 wrote:+2rodders999 wrote:+1OneBardGooner wrote:oh do shut up ,fuckoff and die you nonce.Red Member wrote:He was to blame for the defeat yesterday

He's got a bit of an ego but he's got the talent to back it up.
Of course when it goes wrong he's set himself up for a massive fall.
I agree with Rodders that he has been thrown into 1st team action too early and could have done with another loan but to a PL club. But that’s not his fault.
Bit like the start of last year everyone (like the striker situation now!) was screaming for a top keeper but instead insisted he had 3!!!!
It was a revolving door if you made a mistake you were out. So once Almunia and Flappy (who had a good run, stopped by injury!) had there chances Szczesny took his with both hands. Deservedly so but again should never have got to that stage.
I see Baba points too, but I’m not overly concerned. However, he does need to be carful as for example I’m convinced that he did the wanker sign to Barton after he pulled his shot wide last week.
Szczesny ran to collect the ball in front of the North bank but low down to his side did something with his right hand. You could argue that he was shaking off pain from a stinging shot but then the shot was wide and he didn’t touch it. Or was he cold and warming it up? But then why one hand.
I’m convinced it was the wanker sign especially as it was Barton. Funny and top man for doing so, but back to the point he needs to be careful it wasn’t picked up and gets disciplined by the FA.
Have to remember he's only 21!
BTW Jack had his 20th birthday the other day!!!

Oh is THAT what it's about... He's a proper character is Shezza.
Just a bit of banter to call him a disgrace for it is a joke. You need a sense of humour transplant.
Are there many players over 33 that take penalties against him?
In which case shall we say the average age is about 27.
Now even if that particular player came from a bad family or area where teen pregnancies are rife - my guess is that IF he does say this his intended target if they do have a daughter - has one that's about 3-7 years old.
Which in a way goes from being a disgrace to SICK!

so can someone give me the low down?
disgraceful, isn't it?

at gremio, my old manager taught the young keepers to step hard on the back of striker's achilles heels and say "does it hurt, you pussy?" if they were too close to him (like players do to fabianski).
i can remember the old man saying to me "don't worry kid, ref can't see that, and that way they won't trouble you on the six yard box"

AJAAFC, you strike me as this agitated old man who sits there in his cottage with a gun waiting for yobs to come onto his land. You moan about Frimpong having banter with Pat Rice, then about Eastmond swearing at the same youth game (Shocker, someone swears at a footie game, string them all up!) then email the club because you want to feel important, now you're moaning about what Szczesny says to a penalty taker before he takes it? People including me moaned last season, the season before and the season before that about not being many proper characters in our team, well give me Shezza saying whatever he says over Fabianski shaking so much the posts wobble
Onto the main topic, I couldn't care less if Shezza and Wilshere hit the town after a defeat. Tell me this, after you've had a downer for whatever reason, girls, work, footie itself, whatever, you or a mate has said "Fuck it, let's go clubbing." right? How is this any different? People make it out to be such a big thing that players go clubbing fuck sake, what young male doesn't? Not having a go but I hate the obsession with what players do in their spare time in this country

You are also forgetting his spectacular idiocy in the CC final. Like I said. Great potential, but in danger of letting it slip because he plays at a club where you can become a legend off the back of being significantly less toilet than the clowns before you...Red Member wrote:He was to blame for the defeat yesterday

Chesney has superb potential but needs a firm hand. He's big time Charlie with a loud mouth. He wouldn't get away with some of the shit he comes out with at a big club. He reminds me of Zlatan - except of course, Zlatan has medals to show for it and has had a career at the top...
He won't get the discipline at AW Crèche Colney so he'd get it elsewhere...) the first thing I would do is ban the players off twitter.
Too much giving it the big I am, from a group of players with not a fucking medal between them. Well able to talk the talk on twitter, unable to back it up on the pitch.
Coming to a Wolves near you....

Exactly. The pictures in the article weren't damning in any way either. Just them getting in a fucking car.Sutch wrote:Onto the main topic, I couldn't care less if Shezza and Wilshere hit the town after a defeat. Cheers BG, and I agree not much in that to be fair. Rightly or wrongly shit like that goes on in football, even in the mickey mouse league I play in you'll constantly hear stuff like I fucked your mother/sister/granny/hamster etc. etc......brazilianGOONER wrote:at a television show, he claims he says to the opposition players who are to take a penalty against him "i did your daughter in my car mate".rodders999 wrote:^^^AJAAFC wrote:Posted this on the other thread - I hadn't seen this till yesterday when my brother sent it to me - disgrace - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9CnlWYkgLc
