I thought with Fabregas's departure this year he would step forward and make a claim to play in his role as the avanced midfielder. Sadly he was stuck out on the wing again. Subsequently is it just a coincidence that our turn in form coincided with his departure to Zenit on loan?

lack of effort but was marginalised to the extreme and played completely ut of position. far more went on behnd the scenes than anyone knows. you dont just become crap overnight.
