We MUST win a trophy next season

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We MUST have a new manager them

Under Wenger the aim is not to win trophies.We are a million miles away from winning the CL and the EPL.And in the domestic cups Wenger plays reserve teams.We will never win another trophy under Wenger.Get used to it we have had 7 years practice

The stupidity and arrogance of that statement is borderline WUMing tbh - I get the feeling you have posted this just to get a reaction. :roll:

Wenger has repeatedly failed to strengthen the squad year after year, has repeatedly rewarded shit and average-at-best players' repeated failures with new improved contracts and has failed to deliver a single trophy (despite paying huge wages and the club increasing ticket prices) in that time. And yet on other posts you deem it is not Wenger's fault!

What is different about now compared to this time last season? Or the season before? Or the season before? Or the season before?

sorry I forgot how sensitive some of you posters were.

I fail to see how my post can be interpreted as WUMMING though. I am clearly making the point that 2013 will be 8 years since we last won a trophy. That is the longest period we have gone without winning a trophy since 1987.
I am sure this is something the media will pick up on next year so get used to it. You can say you heard it here first :wink:
