Wilshere - New Surgery

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Its better to get it looked at now which is technically his holiday period so he can get back for pre season.

Its annoying but the timing is perfect.

he's clearly been botched buy a combination of overplaying and misiterpretation of his injuries, at some point, they'll say it was a really rare injury, to be studied by academics and reaserchers, as were Rosicky's and Diaby's injuries. Amazing how all of our players are medical marvels. :banghead: :banghead:

Abso-bloody-lutely, he is required to be 100%. The board really, really need him to shine next season.

Fatten him up and sell this promising world class player for £30m.

Then the following year we sell Ox, (unless he gets injured and misses an entire season). With a tasty profit.

Then, before you turn around, it is 2014 and then the sponsorships get renewed, and then our useless owner sells to Usmanov with another tidy profit.

I still maintain that RVP will be our captain this coming season though.

2. Just because our injuries are described as 'average' does not mean our team and facilities are adequete. IMPROVE IT. Whatever level its at MAKE IT BETTER. From personal experience I can tell you not all physios are of the same standard. Something is badly wrong at our set up. Cut the sentiments, and get the right people for the job.

I'm very Sorry for Jack Wilshere, at his age it must be tough to take.
Too True! - He puts his trust in Arsenal's medical team and they fuck him up! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: funny how No Other Prem club have the same problems as us! :rubchin: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :box:

It's not a new thing. Pat Rice picked up a knee injury and had to retire last week. :?

This just goes to prove what a shambles our medical staff are.

So many fucking problems at this club, you don't know where to start.

I wonder if this is a work of genius. I minor operation will put back his return by a month or so meaning that he is out of contention for the Olympics while clearing an ongoing niggling problem... :rubchin:

Actually that would mean the club I love actually having some semblence of intellegence and cunning . . . it's probably just a another medical fuck up! :(

the main problem is: Wenger will "build" the squad considering Wilshere will be fit and again we'll miss the player who creates opportunities.

i had the same surgery he's going to have & i've spent 6 months recovering from it.

Makes sense really, get a long standing niggly injury treated while the season is over, with the hope that he is able to return and have a normal pre season. Was probably delayed until recently as he hoped to make the Euro squad.

Although the same as past happenings with the medical team we will probably not see Jack until late October after another 2 operations and a dosage of horse placenta being rubbed on his knee and ankle!
