Worst sackings ever?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

2. Jose Mourinho-Chelsea. Chelsea were a formidable force. Truly machine like.

3. SIr Bobby Robson. Replaced by Graeme Souness after finishing a disasterous and god awful 5th. Enough said.

4. Cappello- Real Madrid. Sacked for not winning league convincingly. How awful an excuse.

5. Sam Alladyce- Newcastle. Ok Newcastle were hardly world beaters but atleast he had a plan albeit an ugly one.

6. Kenny Dalglish- Yes Liverpool had a crap prem season but its better to finish with a trophy that to finish 5th with no trophy. Should have been given more time.

7. Avram Grant-Chelsea.
This was a bad sacking for the likes of arsenal because while he was in charge of the scousers they were not a threat to us.Not to say that rodgers will be a success but he cant be any worse than dalglish.

Wasn't Rafa Benitez sacked at Inter just after he'd won the club World Cup? That was pretty bad as well.

Yes, still trying to work that one out :?

And when you consider the backing they've given Steve Kean, it seems even stranger.

Still, I fully back the Venky brothers decision to sack that fat walrus :barscarf:

Wrong thread as it was a good sacking
Btw Heynckes will leave after this season.
