It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.
It is brilliant at searching and finding, you will need to close your Symantec/Norton anti-virus etc, but once it (M.Essentials) is downloaded - it leaves no stone unturned...It is much more thorough than Norton...If that doesn't help, you will need to get your Hard Drive Isolated and 'Cleaned'...costs money - most Computer Stores offer the service...
Do you have important stuff on your pc?
Because I don't and if I have a similar problem I usually take advantage of the situation and format my hard drive
Run Microsoft Security Essentials instead. It's free and good. The IT guy at work says so. On MSE run a full scan. This will look at your hard drive. Not just files.
If the problem persists then use the System Restore disc which came with your computer. This will wipe out everything except the programmes which were installed in the factory. Which should be clean. Save any important stuff (photos etc) to a separate device before you wipe your computer. Or upload them to Photobucket (they will be cleaned there).
If all this fails then you need professional help. Or a new computer. New computer is probably the best option. But don't transfer any files directly from the old one. Obviously.

this. i've had some tough viruses that i simply couldn't clean without fucking the whole system. just backup whatever you have important, format your pc, reinstall all your programs again, and then run an antivirus (or more than one) on the backed data before you copy back. if your antivirus is able to detect the virus, it won't spread to the new windows before it gets cleaned up. i recomend avast free, usually finds the fuckers for me.
i don't like how antiviruses slow down your pc, so i never install one on my pc (i do the antivirus check on my laptop, which is where i backup everything), and every two or three months i repeat the steps above. i've been doing that since windows 95.
I find malwarebytes about the best at the moment. While your PC is booting up, press F8 and from the options, go into safe mode....this will also help with starting up a virus which could block your anti-virus program/sniffer.
Was gonna tell him to run combofix if diagnosis picked out malware & rootkit. Its a very good program but has to be used by experts or novices under supervision.
Ive downloaded malware or whatever its called . Spybot picked out a few things for me but wouldnt let me
deleted them as I had to be the admistrator. So I then run it as administrator . Combo whatever went to load
then a pop up came up saying it was for xp and 2000 only . I got windows 7. A so called pc wizz in work reckons he
will reload it all again for me so Ill see what happens. Once again cheers for the tips and advice
