Re: Haye vs. Chisora
Khan just cant take a punch. Saw it in the Maidana fight that one punch can rock him and undo all the work he has done in previous rounds. For me Khan looked great in the first 2 and was well on the way to winning until that hook from Garcia. A glass chin gets you nowhere in boxing.

Re: Haye vs. Chisora
Haye looked sharper and faster than Chisora. I thought it would take Haye nine rounds to stop Chisora, but Chisora was just too heavy.
Haye looked tired at the end, perhaps too tired as Steve Bunce noted.
Khan simply has not had a good enough defence in his career.
Mayweather would have toyed with him.

Khan fell like a sack of spuds, it was over from the moment garcia landed the first left hook. Missed the Haye v Chisora fight although Iheard that Chisora was sloppy at the end and resorted to street brawler.
Re: Haye vs. Chisora
Khan found out again with that lack of defence. Its shocking how easily he gets hit.Its a fault that isnt going to change.Cant see him coming back.

Street brawler is his style!! And he's not even very good at that!!North-Bank-1987 wrote:Khan fell like a sack of spuds, it was over from the moment garcia landed the first left hook. Sorry Bren, he might be useless at predicting transfers but I think we now have a new 'resident boxing expert' for the forum!!northbankbren wrote:If Khan boxes behind his jab, and doesnt get drawn into a brawl, he could do it within 6 rounds I reckon.SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Garcia will beat Khan, for me he is a fantastic pugalist
I just dont see Garcia winning.

No i just felt Garcia would win due to being from Philadelphia and the fact that boxers from that city are hard punching and very quick. I like his style and Khan has a softer chin.....I Hate Hleb wrote:Sorry Bren, he might be useless at predicting transfers but I think we now have a new 'resident boxing expert' for the forum!!northbankbren wrote:If Khan boxes behind his jab, and doesnt get drawn into a brawl, he could do it within 6 rounds I reckon.SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Garcia will beat Khan, for me he is a fantastic pugalist

EDIT....Khan needs to go back to the drawing board. HIs defence was as already said, awful, he wasnt smart with his tactics, looked in control and got sloppy. Who knows where he goes from here.

On Khans facebook it said that Garcia had agreed in principle to a rematch in the UK.northbankbren wrote:Good call sammy, didnt stay up to watch as was working early this morning so gunna watch now. Re: Haye vs. Chisora...Khan vs. Garcia
Three defeats tells you that Khan needs to start again and earn his right to fight at the top table once more.
