4-5-1 It just ain't working

Rilo II If you read my original post again it's clear that I am not damning down the results of those matches, far from it. My point is based around the general performance in those matches and the thought that with 2 up top we could have played much better. As I said I'd take the result every time, and there is every chance that we would have got less points with our usual formation. I wasn't being negative at all, wanting us to attack the hell out of all those teams because I feel, quality wise there are not many who can stand up to us, points to a positive feeling about the boys and the season ahead.

And Augie I only call two players by there numbers, on here and in my everyday life too. Number 5 (Kolo) and Number 25 (Adebayor), not sure why but it started with Number 5 a good few years ago when he was Number 28.

4-5-1- is a wonderful formation if you have two true wide midfielders like chavs used to ,duff and robben used to bomb forward and create a 4-3-3- when going forward and then the formation would revert back to 4-5-1 when not in possesion..

we play more 4-4-1-1 tbh with hleb in behind which issloateds ade somewhat at times but we are top of the league and now rvp is ready to come back and big ben is also looking good im very happy with the way things have panned out.
