Rosicky Fully Fit
Re: Rosicky Fully Fit
Depends what you view as News. If BBC started reporting the shootings in Colorado as something just announced it would seem rather odd. Perhaps I should have stated 'this is hardly new?'

As far as ive seen the news had not been on the forum before therefore it is news and even could be considered new newsrigsby wrote:Depends what you view as News. Re: Rosicky Fully Fit
Why is anyone surprised? Giving him a new contract after a few good games was fucking madness.
One thing you can bet on he wont be back within 6-8 weeks more like 6-8 months.Have the dope testers been hanging around Colney again

Re: Rosicky Fully Fit
The ugly *word censored* has got his contract extension, I predicted he'd return to type (i.e. injured) and he's not disappointed me. He should have been sold years ago.

He would have been sold after TWICE turning his back on free kicks in the first half of last seasonfranksav63 wrote:The ugly *word censored* has got his contract extension, I predicted he'd return to type (i.e. injured) and he's not disappointed me. He should have been sold years ago.

I'll never forget that either, Wenger, being French, probably likes them doing this, a run of 10 or so good games, didn't cloud my views of this wanker, who, continues to wind me up, just like his little step on the ball routine that he must do in every game. I hate him with a fucking passion.flash gunner wrote:He would have been sold after TWICE turning his back on free kicks in the first half of last seasonfranksav63 wrote:The ugly *word censored* has got his contract extension, I predicted he'd return to type (i.e. injured) and he's not disappointed me. But Rosicky is Czech.
Thought he did well last season, not sure how him being injured is his fault.

Re: Rosicky Fully Fit
I'm talking about surrending easily... anyway, Rosicky was just finally playing how he should have been for the previous 3 or 4 seasons, nothing more, nothing less... I hate it when a player, like Rosicky, can coast through seasons and then he suddenly rediscovers some modicum of form, perhaps because his contract was up for renewal, then most fans start drooling over him... I'm sorry, but I wasn't going to be blinded of 2-3 months of improved form from him.QuartzGooner wrote:franksav63 wrote:I'll never forget that either, Wenger, being French, probably likes them doing thisflash gunner wrote: He would have been sold after TWICE turning his back on free kicks in the first half of last season![]()

Re: Rosicky Fully Fit
Him being injured isn't his fault, and it isn't his fault that we offered him a new contract. Once again it's the club that is at fault. He had a good run for about 3 months last season and they decided to offer him a new contract. Chances are, just like the last contract, he won't be available for a large percentage of time during that contract. And because he is still in the squad, we won't go out and buy someone that can play most of the time with Wenger claiming his squad is too big already.QuartzGooner wrote:franksav63 wrote:I'll never forget that either, Wenger, being French, probably likes them doing thisflash gunner wrote: He would have been sold after TWICE turning his back on free kicks in the first half of last season![]()

It's just another example of why I am utterly fed up with the club, they NEVER learn their lessons.
Re: Rosicky Fully Fit
As a player I think the little guy is a genius and in years to come he will stand out as one of the greatest disappointments of the wenger era cos a failure to fulfill his potential due to constant injuries
All that being said it it is a disgrace that he was given another contract on the back of a few weeks of playing regularly and is yet another shining example of financial mismanagement that is so rife within our club
Too high of a wage bill ? Try trimming all the deadwood starting with players who spend most of every season out injured and rosicky would absolutely be very very high on that list

Re: Rosicky Fully Fit
I agree that he had the potential to be a very good player, on the injury side of things do we need a new medical team and have they contributed to players being out for periods of months when initial prognosis was a couple of weeks?augie wrote:As a player I think the little guy is a genius and in years to come he will stand out as one of the greatest disappointments of the wenger era cos a failure to fulfill his potential due to constant injuriesAll that being said it it is a disgrace that he was given another contract on the back of a few weeks of playing regularly and is yet another shining example of financial mismanagement that is so rife within our club

It seems to have happened with alarming regulatory that players are sidelined for very long periods with what seems obscure or minor injuries, could this be the reason that some of our players seek to go to their homeland and receive treatment there
