Watt and Cross can't understand why players want to leave. It's a lack of respect for Wenger apparently. Ok. So I'm great at my job but I have to stay in a crap team with a crap boss because he gave me a promotion 8 years ago.

For all Tom Watt's faults I actually quite enjoy listening to the forum as a podcast on the train to work.

Two problems though - it's very repetitive, maybe the hosting role could be rotated with other presenters and also far too many of the callers are from nowhere near London (eg George from Blackburn is on there every week) and also loads of callers from USA, Canada etc. No offence but I'd much rather hear the views of those who have actually been to the game or have been at least once in their lifetime rather than someone living on the other side of the Atlantic shouting "Go Arsenal" at their laptop whilst wearing their replica shirt.

Speaking of spin on the official website they have somehow tried to put a spin on Saturday's impressive draw with Sunderland by saying "Saturday's goalless draw with Sunderland made it 12 consecutive seasons without defeat on the opening day for Arsenal, extending the club record."

this is in their Behind the numbers section. Honestly you could not make it up.
apparently in the seasons in which we open with a draw we have an average finishing position of 6.55. About right for this season I reckon.
