Arsenal v Chavs
Re: Arsenal v Chavs
Have those mugs maintained their boycott of the away end ?
Are 'Surrey Gooner' and the other "we always cheer for the English club in Europe" bulldogs ready for the 90 minutes of listening to "Champions of Europe" and "have you won the European cup" from the fuckwits that do decide to buy a ticket in the away end

I'm going 3-2, I think there'll be goals and it will be a tight game but I don't know whos going to win.

Isn't that a contradiction?

Like I said in the original champoins league thread, I was happy for an English team to win it over ze germans anyday of the week, and I still standby that. And in answer to your question, on Saturday they're the enemy, so I wont just be listening to them for 90 mins, which you might be doing, but Ill be chanting away and replying with some sweet Jacky D McStella powered retorts of my own, from my nice seat in earshot of them at the clockend. chanting, banter, its whats its all about. Let em bring it. Fuck em.

Never understood that "we always cheer for the English club in Europe" bullshit. Imagine cheering for the chavs? Or the fucking scum??!! WTF?!

Re: Arsenal v Chavs
They don't get it and that was always my point. Foreign manager, mostly foreign players, playing in a competition for clubs not for countries. For 38 domestic games we hate them, hate their vile captain, Cashley Hole etc, and then just because they play against a team from a different league we're supposed to forget all that and cheer for 'good old JT and the boys'DB10GOONER wrote:Should be fun...SteveO 35 wrote:Have those mugs maintained their boycott of the away end ?

Sometimes I think some of our "fans" just don't get club football at all...
Not in my fucking lifetime thankyou.

Hazard v Jenkinson is a major concern.

Re: Arsenal v Chavs
"The Independent Regulatory Commission will provide written reasons for its decision in due course. Mr Terry has the right to appeal the decision of the Independent Regulatory Commission to an Appeal Board. An appeal must be lodged within 14 days from receipt of the written reasons for the decision.
The penalty is suspended until after the outcome of any appeal, or the time for appealing expires, or should Mr Terry decide not to appeal. The reason for this is to ensure that the penalty does not take effect before any appeal so that Mr Terry has an effective right of appeal."
he will obviously appeal, so see you saturday "honest John"

So you're not too positive about the outcome of this then?
Unusual stance for you

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one, as this will blatantly just turn into a re-hash of the original CL thread. Don’t want to go there as we all have our own views on English teams in Europe.
Fact is on Saturday the Chavs will be at the Grove giving it loads with their champions of Europe chants, that is one thing we can agree upon. The key is, for the clockend and the block 6’ers to really get the atmosphere going, and drown out all 200 of em (if they go though with this boycott, which I very much doubt) . A nice early goal from Arsenal to settle the nerves and a hopefully an all round solid defensive performance. I can see this one being 2-1 or 3-1 Arsenal. Finally, I hope Terry does get to play despite his ban (when does that kick in anyway?) as I can’t wait to see his ugly racist face eating grass again from Diabys right boot. Up the Arse
