Seriously you guys are junkies,no sympathy .My wife smokes and i have had to endure 3 times this year her trying to give them up,we have had the patches the tablets/gum and the latest 1 those electronic cigs/pipe kinda thing which have cost her a small fortune she does well for a while and then falls off the wagon so to speak.She was off them for 14 weeks at 1 stage and was doing well but 1 night we were at the pub and someone gave her a pull of a cig,now shes back on them.

Put those patches over her eyes mate then she wont be able to find her cigarettes

Just maybe she smokes cigarettes to make up for missing out on something in her life?

She was smoking long b4 she met me.

I gave up after the chelski game, after having a few beers to dull the pain, I had run out of fags so off to sainsburys down Holloway Road to find there 8.50 a packet............well I aint brought a packet since.
It wont that long ago a packet of fags and a paper was a fiver, well now its more like a tenner and when your having a bad day and buy two packets that serious money.

good luck on giving up the fags!! i work as a home help carer and i have about 4 people i go to and literally they cant go 5 mins without picking up another fag unless they're eatin or sleepin, has put me off for life!!

Just get to the end of each day without one. Just one day. Dont think long term it'll only depress you more.

If you can do one whole day then you can quit. Before you know it you'll have done a week. Then a month. Then you CANT go back on them because you'll have wasted all that suffering for feck all.

Thats how I did it mate. One day at a time.
