And you'd let that stop you i.e. what some JCL who has supported the club since 1996 thinks about the stance you're taking? Jeez, no wonder nothing gets done and the club continue to mug everyone offDarylAFC wrote:As much as I agree with the point of a protest, now is the wrong time. Just off the back of an embarrassing defeat, we'd be slated in the papers and the AKB "Real fans" will be praised for their patience.

Without wishing to bring up the ill-fated banner, it was never 'the right time' to show that either. When will be an opportune moment to show our feelings?DarylAFC wrote:As much as I agree with the point of a protest, now is the wrong time. As I said earlier - too few of us are actually pissed off that the club is being run as a money making enterprise first and foremost to get this off the ground.
Personally, me and the mrs have stopped attending games and I think I'll even let my membership go after this season.

Reg Niseth from this board and (mainly) AFC forum might be able to point you in the right direction, perhaps ask the malcontents from this forum (most of us) to pay for another A-board outside the ground again?
Re: Protest Time, Anyone?
Don't get me wrong, I want a protest and would be involved with it, I'm just saying that we need to be prepared to hear the whole "Real fans have patience" and "We're true Arsenal fans" bull.

Come to the AGM for a start.

Nothing to do with the Norwich defeat its 7 years of lack of ambition and selling our best players every summer while we make massive profits.Who care's what the press say?DarylAFC wrote:As much as I agree with the point of a protest, now is the wrong time. Re: Protest Time, Anyone?
no point mate, there are 1000, who will happily take your place if you don't go.
Arsenal FC is like Petrol prices, we all moan about, but at the end of the day, do fuckall about and just keep paying out

Just saying that if/when we do it, don't expect much support despite the fact anyone with an honest eye can see the damage that has been done.donaldo wrote:Nothing to do with the Norwich defeat its 7 years of lack of ambition and selling our best players every summer while we make massive profits.Who care's what the press say?DarylAFC wrote:As much as I agree with the point of a protest, now is the wrong time. Re: Protest Time, Anyone?
The BSM are doing a protest outside (and maybe inside) the AGM this Thursday.
But as aleady stated, as long as home games are 60,000 sell outs (or close) with people paying up to £126 for a ticket why would the board think the majority of fans are anything but happy with the club?

Best thing we can do is every game we congregate outside Diamond Entrance like we did at the BSM march a couple of years back.
This way the wankers eating their dinners will see and also the board. Do this every home game

Now I realise that because of work commitments it might be difficult to do with large numbers on a week day, but as I've said before, the best place to organise a protest is outside the training ground where, unlike at the stadium, the manager and players will actually get to see the angry faces of the fans / any banners as they come in and go out of London Cloney.

Time to Stand Up . . .
. . . or will it simply be the same ol' faces?
The AGM is on Thursday 25th October (Agincourt anniversary) at the E******. We've just released our profits, various media have made comments about the cost of our tickets and Gazadis has a huge bonus, for what?
LET'S KICK GREED OUT OF FOOTBALL. Is the ideal message to put across. This is the moment we've been waiting for. I'll be taking time off work to go over there . . . who's coming with me?

'Let's Kick Greed Out Of Football'?
They'll probably only take that to mean you're in agreement with their policy in support of FFP!!
