TONIGHTS FOOTBALL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What the Neville bros did to Reyes was disgusting. Fletcher breaks up the game by comitting foul after foul and he has been let get away with it.
Pity we have not had someone for some time now to do the same
We'd never get away with it mate. Song gave away endless petty fouls but playing for us instead of Man U he would always get booked. He's still the same clumsy fucker he was last season but watch how his booking rate will drop dramatically now he's playing for Spain's answer to ManUre. I bet the fucker is getting away with murder now
Yeah I know, but sometimes it would have made me feel better SteveO

FUcking Bale, Welsh prick :rubchin:

On a serious note they are as much of a one-man team as we were last year. Might not get all their goals but when Bale doesn't play they lack pretty much any creativity and tempo.

As much as I hate to see chelsea fans celebrating a goal I wanted that penalty to go in. Another 30 mins for utd to play before the weekend and hopefully they will pick up a few injuries.

So as things stand the last 8 are: The Arsenal, Leeds, Bradford, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Swansea, United/Chavs.

Won't catch me calling it the Mickey Mouse Cup for a while after the last two days  :barscarf: :barscarf:

On a serious note a combination of the fact that more clubs are now genuine trophy contenders and moreover the fact it feels like I was in nappies last time we won something I would love to win this cup. Especially after the way we came back last night, would be a shame if it ultimately meant fuck all.
