Re: Have you ever left early?
I left at the exact moment that the scum scored to make it 4-4 at home a few years ago, think it was pretty much the 90th minute but I couldn't Stay any longer. The journey home to Bournemouth was horrible

I think it was when we lost to the mancs 3-1 at home a few seasons ago. It was a dire performance. I was absolutly marvin and our supporters coach was leaving bang after full-time, soon 75 mins I went to get a Donnor with chilli sauce.

Re: Have you ever left early?
Left twice
1-1 with Sheffield Wed with twenty to felt sick and decided to get tube home found out when home we had won 7-1
3-3 with scum couple seasons back left when van def fart was taking penalty to make it 3-3 wasn't staying for last twenty to see us lose....that was a game I hated and still do.....
Other than those two......never ever leave no matter the score

Yes, once in the early 1980's. Fairs cup or whatever it was called at that time. It was against something like Spartak Moscow, lost the 1st leg 3 - 2 away, found ourselves 3 - 0 down after about 20 mins at Highbury, enough was enough. Can't remember the final score.

Re: Have you ever left early?
I usually stay till the bitter end. A few times I have left around 2-3 mins before the end and only if we are comfortably winning (or losing). I did leave at half time last year when we played Villa in the FA Cup - we were 2-0 down by half time and the performance was abject so I left early. We came back to win 3-2 and I have always regretted it.
This game I've stayed till the end for every game except Shalke, when we let in the 2nd goal. I was well pissed off with another inept performance.

Re: Have you ever left early?
generaaly always stay to end of game and really don't understand folk who leave 15 mins early when game is level or only one goal in it.
However, did leave Sunderland cup game early last season as had been to Milan to witness the 4-0 defeat and couldn't be arsed watching another piss-poor performance for any longer in the space of a few days

1-1 draw with villa about 5 seasons back, missed Bendy equaliser, still didn't care we were shit and that draw was for me officially end of our challenge that season.
3-1 prem defeat to utd a few seasons back, I left with 40 mins to go and haven't been back since.

Re: Have you ever left early?
Yes there has been the occasional time when ive left early, notably the loss at wembly against the scum ! 3.1...
I do think that there has been a lot of media hype on this, people were getting up to hit the toilets and bars just before half time, rather than leave early...
Those that did leave early def wern't getting on a bus back to the station or on an away coach !! cos there wern't any !!
a handful leaving early, out of 4300, isnt bad at all.
Our support was fantastic again !! COYG's

FA Cup semi in 1991- went with my Dad and he said: "We're going, come on" with about five minutes to go. I also left the beer cup final against Birmingham after they had scored their winner. I just thought fuck this and walked out in the drizzle just numb but not completely surprised that we had managed to fuck it right up.

Would never leave a game. If one of our players stopped trying or decided to stop playing (ala Di Canio
) They would get unbelievable stick, so I dont think its acceptable for fans to abandon the team. Its got to affect team morale when they suddenly look up to see the Grove half full and the fans leaving. You pay for 90 minutes and you watch 90 minutes. I will never abandon The Arsenal

Re: Have you ever left early?
I have to leave early from time to time. I live in Cornwall and I am unable to drive the whole way due to a medical condition, so I often end up leaving a few minutes before the end to enable me to get the last train back to Exeter/Bodmin Parkway.
I left bang on 90 mins at Upton Park last month, ran back to the station, and with the tube engineering works it meant I had to change twice and made it back to Paddington 5 minutes before the train left. If I had waited until full time I wouldn't have got back to Paddington in time.
If we are losing I won't leave early but if I have to get back for the last train then I will. I know the match ticket is expensive etc but it would be more of an expense to have to pay for the next train/a night's hotel!

Yep. Once. But not an Arsenal match.
Wemberleee. Sampdoria V Barcelona European Cup Final. Biggest borefest ever. FACT. We left going into ET and got to the Green Man pub to watch Koeman score the only goal. Yawnathon.

Re: Have you ever left early?
Another vote for the 1991 semi. The only other time i have left early was in 1982 when we eked out a 0 0 draw with Brighton. The most boring game i have ever seen.
I must admit i would have left early when we played Sheff Utd in the cup in 2005. The game didn't finish until well gone 10.30 as there was extra time and penalties. The last train to Nottingham was just after 11.00 so i had a 10.45 cut off. Typically got back in time to see the train was delayed 40 minutes.

Re: Have you ever left early?
Left a few mins before half time a few years ago vs United in the champions league, couldn't face another half of that, remember people leaving in droves after Ronaldo's free kick from a mile away
Had just left in the 87th min on Tuesday walking past the coaches, heard the roar of the 3rd goal so quickly sprinted back in, ended up right behind the goal to see the 4th a few mins later
