Re: New Blog- The School Of Gooner
I too am not a blog fan but the best of luck with it, mate. We'll leave it up here in On the Terraces for a while to spread the word.
One word of advice though, as mentioned, spell and grammar check everything. Bad spelling and grammar will put a lot of people off.

Re: New Blog- The School Of Gooner
I have to say that I found it a little disappointing. Considering that the title suggests that the blog was going to about a school, there was no mention of OFSTED reports, schools league tables, school ethos, achievements, prospectus, uniform policy, sixth form, academy, homework, extra curricular activities, Head Teacher, Special needs, sports day, field trips, school dinners, bike sheds, fat kids, bunsen burners, bullying, school disco, detentions, suspensions, exclusions, buggery, prefects, Head Boys, Head Girls, Teachers Pets, bunking off, Parents evenings, wall bars, playgrounds or exams to name but a few things that I would have expected to have seen.
Must try harder!

Just a thought but maybe if you abbreviated the name to The SOG that might help attract a different sort of reader altogether?
No doubt they'd be coming in floods.

Re: New Blog- The School Of Gooner
The blog will 90-95% just be about current issues at Arsenal but I will try and mix it up with some more general on-field and off-field from around the footballing worldarseofacrow wrote:What's the blog about mate?

Re: New Blog- The School Of Gooner
When you say off field do you mean stories about players who might be joining arsenal

Re: New Blog- The School Of Gooner
It's ok
It has it's grammatical issues as pointed out by other Wiley bogmen
I like its crispness
It's not over elaborate
It's cutting
It's basic
It's who said OFSTED
The bastards just did a two dayer at my school, new framework is good....all about learning and how teachers teach...
For me very good with outstanding features....
Now this blog, keep plugging at it Goonerwalker as I a fresh blog it's good enough for me to read.
It just needs a tippers game
