Sagna,BFG,tv5,kos,arteta,cazorla,giroud and podolski are all first 11 players which would suggest that this is no longer a team that can use youth as an excuse

Damn right mate - average age of that side was 26 years old on Saturday and a back four with nobody under the age of 27. No need for those excuses and experienced players in reserve too like Arshavin, Chamakh, the Great Abou, Rosicky etc

Another of the Wenger myths and excuses quashed

id say NO but lets see how we are fixed come the transfer window.TH is a legend,he added to his legendary status last season with his goal against leeds and the winner against sunderland,i was seriously afraid he was gonna be a flop and mess up his god like status but thankfully he delivered but can he deliver again??i think maybe not this time around.you have to remember when he joined us last year he'd not long left barca so was still in the barca calibre, but now we are another year down the line and TH has been playing second rate 'soccer' so wont be quite up to premier speed.i think id prefer to remember him as a legend and call it a day with him,TH i love you long time!!! :cheekkiss:

Voted no. As much as I would love to see him play for Arsenal again, it's time to move on. I would just let him train with us, but playing games? No. He can have an influence on our players by training as well.

Yesterday I heard we are interested in Klaas Jan Huntelaar from Schalke 04. I would rather see us buy a new striker than letting Henry play just a few games.

Had did well last time and has been in very good form in the USA this season.

Good option for the last 20 minutes, which I see as a positive option, plus for the FA Cup Third round.

Not going to cost us much, and he is currently training with the club anyway.
In the long run Quartz don't you think it would be more beneficial to give the Chamster some game time seeing as he'll be the one we'll be forced to turn to if Giroud picks up an injury in the key period in February/March when Henry has long since returned to the US?

Henry III: Wenger won't rule out Arsenal legend Thierry rejoining again in January

By John Cross | 20 Nov 2012 22:32
Arsene Wenger has admitted he is ready to sign Thierry Henry for a THIRD time.

Henry is set to join Wenger's Arsenal on a short-term loan from New York Red Bulls in January, having already trained with the Gunners three times in recent days.

The now 35-year-old Frenchman, Arsenal’s 228-goal record scorer, did the same last winter after the MLS season came to an end and Wenger is hoping he can give his squad the same kind of lift he did then.

The Gunners boss confirmed he is keen on Henry – who scored twice in seven games for Arsenal last season, including a sensational FA Cup winner after coming on as sub against Leeds on his 'debut' – especially with out-of-favour striker Marouane Chamakh set to leave in January.

Henry has now gone with Red Bulls on a 10-day end-of-season tour, but will return to London next month to step up his training.

Wenger said: “He has been practising with us. Three times. Will I sign him again in January? I don’t know – I don’t rule it out.

"I don’t know if he would be interested.

“This year we will lose Gervinho to the Africa Cup of Nations again, so we will be short – particularly if Chamakh goes.”

Chamakh has been linked with a return to former club Bordeaux.

Wenger is a c**t that has given up all ambition of ever competing for trophies ever again - I wish that he would take himself and all his cheapo 2nd rate crap back to france where a 35 year old might still cut the mustard :cussing: :cussing:

Overall I believe that the answer is not always to buy

Haven't you heard about the two transfer markets mate - one external and one internal

I love the build up to the transfer window- still give him time, judge him in May and remember that real fans have real patience

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

We'll be signing Henry on loan when he's 38

No.

Chamakh at this point appears nothing to do with our long term plans.
He has played no significant part in the team for 18 months, with the exception of a brace at Reading.

If Giroud gets injured I expect Wenger to use Gervinho and Walcott in attack.

If I was manager I would use Henry on loan and bring in a permanent replacament for Chamakh, probably Huntelaar, and let Chamakh go ASAP.

As a very low paid back up Yes .
As a 50k ++ a week T-shirt novelty No .

It also may have a damaging effect on the moral of others ,especially if as some suggested we do a deal with Walcott !

Wilshere is loyal for now but if he sees any further descent into the Mid Table abyss he will want out too !

Fair enough about Chamakh but we both know if we get Henry on loan there's no way Huntelaar or any other striker of note will be accompanying him.
