Goodbye Sagna
Re: Goodbye Sagna
If this is true this is pure madness, broken legs happen because you challenge for balls.
Its not like recurring knee or ankle problems ,you break it because u go in hard.
I'm stunned I truly am,but the club doesn't care because they have shown that Arsenal is a "robust brand" so it's not all about winning !

You, my friend, have just discovered the world of Public RelationsFrenchGun wrote:This. The more time passes by, the more I'm starting to believe this is all a big wind up from the club and Wenger to the fans. From Wenger post match interviews with his "mental strenght", "physically jaded", "Hand brake on" etc... To the article on .com about "Theo Walcott: He can be the new messi", or I still remember the "Eboue: the pass maestro"... Without forgetting the Hill-woods comments about the angry fans who should "step down a little" or the Gazidis broken record of "We are financially very healthy! Soon we will be able to compete with City and Real!" ... The comments about the players every week in the journo's : "We were not good enough. From now on we will pick ourselves up, take our responsabilities and go forward." ... To see them the next day being abyssal yet again... Or their constant bigging up between them: "Gervinho: Giroud is class. In training he score goals all the time"... "Ramsey: Arteta is such class, he sees everything before everyone else"...Dan_85 wrote:Do me a fucking favour, they've gotta be on a wind up?! Absolute cretins, morons and wankers the lot of em. These are the same lot who can't wait to sign up the likes of Rosicky and Diaby!Wengerball wrote:The club’s decision not to offer a long-term deal is thought to be connected to fears over his injury record
There's too many coincidences... This HAS to be a big wind up!

Re: Goodbye Sagna
If this is true our entire board and management should be hanged outside the stadium and left for all to see. Probably our best player still here, it speaks volumes that he's managed to come out with some credibility after playing in our defence for years. Plus, he's probably the only player that Wenger has signed since 2004 where he can really claim to have got a real quality player on the cheap.
Thing is it wouldn't surprise me at all. We all know that something has to change with our spiralling wage bill and it's typical modern Arsenal to try and deal with it by forcing one of our best players out the door with a fucking derisory offer (even ignoring the deals offered to perennial sicknote failures in the last few years).
Smacks of locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.

This is Wenger's policy, the 1 year for 30 year olds, not the boards.
He did this to Dennis, FFS. FUCKING DENNIS BERGKAMP!

Re: Goodbye Sagna
Sagna is brilliant, hence why he shouldn't be here any longer. He's the kind of talent that a top-table, trophy-challenging side would have. IF he does go, and I'm not ruling anything out just yet, I wish him nothing but success. He has been a consummate professional throughout his tenure here.
Hopefully he stays though.

Re: Goodbye Sagna
This HAS to be a ploy by Sagna's Kúnt agent... has to be... isn't it? Please?
Can our negotiators/management/Board be THAT fucking stupid?
Oh, right...

Oh, right...

Re: Goodbye Sagna
If he lets sagna go then the old c**t should be strung up by the balls from the bridge outside the bowl
I read the comments suggesting that sagna was to be sold but I didnt really believe it even when I heard stories about him being left out of the calander but after reading this surely it aint no coincidence that these stories are out there ? Sagna is without doubt my favourite Arsenal player at the mo and I believe him to be the best right back in the world at the mo and I will be gutted, absolutely gutted, if they allow him to leave - RIP AFC

Re: Goodbye Sagna
This is now where we see the start of a period of demise for young Carl Jenkinson too, in much the same way as Ramsey i.e. sell the older, experienced player and over-promote the youngster, expecting him to play 40-50 games per season, whilst at United he'd be a 15-20 game player still learning from the more experienced seasoned international.
Mark my words when Sagna's gone, Jenkinson will suffer an alarming dip form and have only Yennaris as back up. Then poor old Jenko will get lots of stick and it'll set him back a couple of years

Someone fucking tell them about Rosicknote and Diaby![]()
Don't forget RVP who for six and half years took ''footballing holidays'' and still got improved contracts for 10 games a season!!!!.....it's his pathetic policy about over 30's or for players who criticise Le Prof.

Re: Goodbye Sagna
The fact that he broke his own policy for shit like Tweety Bird, after basically insulting The Dennis and Pires (2 absolute legends and 2 absolute winners) is a fucking disgrace that I have never forgiven Wenger for.donaldo wrote:N1Goon wrote:This is Wenger's policy, the 1 year for 30 year olds, not the boards.

Re: Goodbye Sagna
You have to wonder if the whole thing is a big joke and they're all pissing themselves in the boardroom trying to see how much they can get away with before supporters actually take action.
"OK, so we've told em we'll sell Sagna because of his injury record. What next? How about we change the crest to a chicken on a beachball? That'll be hilarious and the fans are too spineless to do anything about it lolz

Heading for? Mate, it started at least 6 years ago!!Sagna is quality and Arsenal are heading for self destruct
Why are people surprised? It was obvious Sagna was going to be one of the two big names out the door this season. It's called asset stripping and when the job is done, Uncle Arsene will walk away and leave Arsenal in a place where it will take 5 years to recover at least and he'll pick up a big fat bonus from Ivan the Terrible and Silent Stan the Assassin for making bigger profits whilst cutting the wage bill.
Sagna out, Debuchy in, it's going to happen.
