Stan Kroenke 'has no passion' for Arsenal according to ex director

Majority shareholder Stan Kroenke has been accused of "having no passion" for Arsenal by former director Lady Bracewell-Smith.

Arsenal's board are facing criticism after a poor start to their Premier League campaign and their Capital One Cup exit.

“"[Kroenke] shows he cares very little. Why he wanted to be part of AFC I do not know."”

Bracewell-Smith, who sold Kroenke her shares last year, has criticised the American.

"Football is a business of passion. SK has no passion for AFC," she tweeted.

"If making money was the motivating factor, surely there are better ways."

When asked her view of the way the club is being run, Bracewell-Smith, who remains Arsenal's honorary vice president, added: "Disappointed would be an understatement!

In October Kroenke insisted Arsenal are still targeting trophies despite the Gunners selling captain Robin van Persie to rivals Manchester United in August.

Van Persie's departure followed the sales of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri the previous summer.

There is also uncertainty over the future of England international Theo Walcott, whose contract expires next summer.
She sold out to him!!!!!!!!! IDIOT.

Talk about shutting the door after the horse has bolted  Sells her shares and suddenly decides he might not be the right man for the club, nice to know she has a wad of cash under her mattress so at least her sleep wont be distrupted to much :banghead:

If she is into twitter there is a chance that she has been on this site , having said that some of the players must look on here too. Would like to know her thoughts !

for goodness sake if you're going to complain and call her an idiot at least READ INTO IT FIRST.
The FULL CONVO

@GuevaraLeGunner: I get the impression you don't care for SK's approach in the running of Arsenal FC
@NinaBracewell: Disappointed would be an understatement! Shows he cares very little. Why he wanted to be part of AFC I do not know.

@NinaBracewell: if making money was the motivating factor, surely there are better ways. Football is a business of passion and SK has no passion for AFC.

@NinaBracewell Retweeted @v12ock: Obviously DF can't [put his opinion forward] (RIP!) had he been in better health none of u would have sold them shares end of! #Arsenal

@JarretSchu: wait everyone sold because he died? please explain.
@NinaBracewell: it triggered a takeover.

@NinaBracewell Retweeted @Lordhillwood: some of you need to revise your AFC history, Danny Fiszman sold his shares to SK with PHW as well, and I believe they convinced NBS to do likewise

[KEY WORD HERE - CONVINCED!!!!!!!]

@NinaBracewell Retweeted @Rav_joshi: has only confirmed what we all know about Stan K. i think she was sold into an idea that he was this passionate sports investor

@NinaBracewell: @NataliaWT7 i have acknowledged my mistake and deeply regret [selling]

@AnotherGooner1 in hindsight, do you accept responsibility @NinaBracewell for what SK's done to the club? you did sell him the shares after all
@NinaBracewell: absolutely.

@DarrenArsenal1: if you had a choice today would you have sold to Red & White [instead of SK] (hindsight of course)
@NinaBracewell: on hindsight i would not have sold [full stop]. i now believe more than ever that multi/ownership works best in premier league football
so yes she is a c##t for selling out to him but read it all properly before just passing judgment. she acknowledged her mistake, she didnt want to sell she was coaxed into it by that prick PHW and fiszman passing sped up the process because they wanted to keep AFC out of R&W hands. shes taken responsibility for it all but what's done is done.

she's also deleted comments that she made yesterday attacking SK more than she already did, saying that she was made to feel like an outsider and shown no respect since selling, e.g. being put on a table in the corner when attending games and having her bag searched on entry to the ground. really went on the attack but deleted it since.

Convinced implies she still came round to the idea.

They had no legal right to force her to sell her shares so she sold them at her own choice.

She could of said ''Up yours'' but she didn't.

That is the problem here. She didn't HAVE to sell but she DID and she now goes on a rampage about it.

good on her for ripping into the board, she could have stayed silent which on her part would have been no bother at all but she didnt, that alone shows she is bothered about the club and has put herself in the firing line, good on her.remember the shares were hers to do with what she wanted,if she wanted to sell then thats up to her,we dont all have red and white running through our veins,at least she has the balls to stand up now and be counted, and like stewart robson its given us a voice :barscarf:

i agree there's an element of choice in it but it's also easy to put pressure on people to make a favourable decision. unfortunately we'll never know exactly what happened. unless BG's short enough to hide in the next board meeting and feedback.

I guess you're right skizz_b.

I revise my earlier comments to include, wishing the cow gets gout.

Lady, go watch desperate housewives or Nigella on the cooking channel, there's no point bleating about it now, is there?

Skizz that gives a better picture of the circumstances but there was still absolutely nothing compelling her to sell other than the greed. As a director of the club she owed a fiduciary duty to act in its best interests, so claiming she was 'duped' is an easy way out when in reality everybody could see by looking at his other sports ventures what his intentions and priorities were going to be. Particularly when she was part of the 'lock-down agreement'.

Fact is, however she tries to dress it up, she got greedy and sold the shares she inherited through marriage because she had dollar signs in her eyes. She's been quite mouthy since she left and it's quite obvious to me that she misses the platform from which she can air her views.

She was a custodian of our club and just like her pals she sold us down the river for personal wealth she neither needs or deserves. So it does stick in the craw a bit when she turns round and comes out with this.

And to think that people actually believe that simply removing the manager will get this club back where it belongs.
We will never win another league title no matter who the manager is as long as the c*nts on the board remain in charge!
The club needs a fundamental change which will only come from the top.
