Ramsey must be heartened by the support and goodwill shown to him on this thread, appears the only person forum users hate more than Ramsey is the man who savaged him in that blatant 'attack'.
Perhaps it is the 'all for one, one for all' culture where we will protect what we regard as 'our' player although he is far from a favourate. Not one person would shy away from condemning Shawcross for his evil deed.
However, I often feel Shawcross is the very type of player our club could do with. Our defence has already been described as 'rice crispie' in it's nature, so do we need a bit of 'dirt' in there to add a certain fear factor. A certain steel we have lacked since the days of George Graham and his famous back four.
Now I am not promoting leg breaking or any such violence, no way!! But a kind of in your face defending we do not play at Arsenal, we are too 'nice'.
