staying in the aisling hotel by the station and going to neil delamare in vicar st Friday night but thinking of avoiding temple bar Saturday as im not in the mood for 6euro pints
doing a bit of shopping sat so which is the better of the out of town shopping centres

Dundrum is probably best shopping center....you can get a bus from Heuston Station to Stephen's Green and take the Luas from there. If you want a few proper pints in a real pub city center you could do worse than the Oval on Abbey Street, Non pretentious pub with proper staff and good Guinness.

TP Smiths further down Abbey Street (upper) is not bad too. Decent pints, good atmos, food and no skangers. Handy for a quick stagger onto the LUAS too - there's a stop literally right outside the front door!
