MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yeah, it's to pay the wages of the mediocre staff don't you see. They can't compete with the petro-dollars of other nearby pubs.

I think Man City have an appalling record against us in the league at our place, I can't even remember last time they beat us at Highbury....all set up for a 1-0 defeat then!

Result depends totally on Mancini.....if they come looking for a draw as they usually do then they will leave defeated but if they come ready to put us to the sword then they will win by 2 or 3 goals no doubt. I do not believe that playing for a draw has ever worked properly in a league game and if you are or want to be top dogs then games like this are where citeeh should be at their best

They won 1-0 at the Emirates in the League Cup in November 2011, but they've never beaten us at the Emirates or Highbury in the Premier League era.

The last time they won at our place in the league was back in the 1975/76 season (2-3). So 38 years ago. Maybe that's why we're so confident.

We are now so far behind the leaders, it will take years to sort the mess out!

My feelings exactly, so I will not be too upset if we drop a point or three here tbh.

It's a love hate thing, love Arsenal/hate Utd :|
