I always expect South Africa to be able to put a decent side together, compared to other African countries they should have far better resources than most. Plus their population must be a huge amount bigger than Cape Verde so finding players should be easier.

I saw part of the opening game as was surprised how many empty seats there were.

It looks like it will be a tournament of quarter filled stadiums until they start giving out tickets for free.

Another empty stadium :roll: - the daft thing is, I reckon if you held the African Nations Cup in the UK, the attendance figures would increase! - crazy tournament with seemingly very little interest.

Still, it keeps Gervinho away, so I'm all for it 8)
