Your favorite Bergkamp memory or goals ?

Newcastle was unbelievable ! argentina was superb including the crazy commentator but for me my most memorable moment is for all the wrong reasons ! why didnt the saviour of our obviously dying football club give denis 15 minutes in the final against barcelona i still think to this day he could have done something magical that day to say a proper goodbye :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

:shock:

Flash, I'm calling Mike and getting you sacked, motherfucker. :twisted:

To quote Lee Dixon when asked by "Smasher" Keys if DB meant it;

"This is Dennis Bergkamp we are talking about. He did stuff like that every single day in training. Of course he meant it."

Look at his movement as the ball approaches, the way he is looking about and positioning himself, the way he is already moving off around the defender even as he places the ball the other way. Meant it 100%.

Not only my favourite DB goal but my fave goal of all time. By anyone. It's not a 30 yard screamer but they are a dime a dozen tbh. It's the finesse, the weight of touch, the vision, the sheer fucking genius of it.

Flash, old mate, I am going to kick you in the bollocks. Really hard. Twice. :lol: :wink:

Southampton away 97/98 and Benali trying to be the tough guy and getting brushed aside 25 yards out then bang, top corner. He could look after himself!

It's got to be Newcastle away for me, it was a thing of beauty.

The whole "did he mean it" debate has always confused me a little.

Which part are people questioning? and what are they suggesting he was trying to do instead? :o
