As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I hope and pray this is true because the useless fat bastard will never be an Arsenal player again in my eyes after that unforgiveable episode at OT.

Leaving us short at the back? I'd rather have TV5, Miquel, Yennaris, Coqeulin, Meade, Jenkinson, Ramsey......hey, just about any fit available player filling in there for a couple of games if Nacho Man isn't available and Gibbs is still out. At least they can all run for more than 20 minutes and won't go hero worshipping the opposition players during the walk back to the tunnel at half time

I sincerely hope we never see this useless, fat, disgusting piece of shit in an Arsenal shirt ever again.

Fantastic news if its true

I'm still amazed you can put those two in the same bracket as the other useless fuckers you've mentioned
Tell me how many games they have played between them this season SteveO.We need to clear out the deadwood and the sicknotes at the club before we can even think of finishing even within 15 points of United in the next few years

At least Santos can leave knowning he will always be remembered as the worst LB ever in our history

The fact he won't be around even for a few months is a good start. Just write off his transfer fee and hopefully he'll stay in Brazil. The issue of course will be the over inflated wages to match his over inflated waistline - no other teams will pay it, so we'll be forced to loan the useless *word censored* out until his contract runs down

The money is wasted already, that's a given - this lazy, overweight, unfit, unprofessional, untalented pile of shit being on a different continent is a win. May only be on loan but Wenger's willingness to loan him out so soon after his purchase means his career at Arsenal is dead in the water.

As bad as he is it is leaving us pretty short at the back
Nope, you could put a kid from the 'nextGen' team in there and he'll be better than Santos.......hell, even Gervinho would be a better left back than Andre Fat.tos :barscarf:

My left foot is abysmal, I'm a midfielder and currently Injured. I honestly think I'd be a safer bet than santos

I am relieved now that he wont be anywhere near the place when we play Bayern Munich. Was seriously dreading him being ripped to shreds by Ribery/Robben. Hopefully Gibbs/Vermaelen will be ready. I have to say that the shirt swapping act was unforgivable and he truly has had an abomination of a season for whatever reason, I thought he was actually a useful player last season and the memories of his goals against WBA and Chelsea were superb...just don't think he was cut out defensively, should've been used more as an attacking player where I think he would have been put to more use.

I hope that the other deadwood will stay in brazil too and dun ever come back. The thought of him wearing an arsenal shirt makes my blood boil

Fucking good riddance. Worst left back I've ever seen in an Arsenal shirt.
