Either way it's shit - I'd rather them keep it in the summer certainly but even then if the temperatures are that bad then players are going to come back physically exhausted, physically broken down or both.

Boot Bale, he can't run without legs! Scottish enforcer Brown calls for Strachan's men to get tough with Wales winger.

Former Rangers hard man John Brown has stoked the fire ahead of Scotland's clash with Wales by urging Gordon Strachan's players to kick Gareth Bale.

Bale ripped Scotland apart in Cardiff last October and looks set to shake off an ankle injury in time for Friday's return at Hampden.

'With the pace that he's got and the close control... he can't run without legs,' Brown told BBC Radio Scotland.

Brown's comments angered fans and he was forced to deny saying the Scots should try to 'hurt' Bale. But when quizzed again on whether that was what he was implying, Brown, nicknamed Bomber during his playing days, said: 'It might have been.'

Despicable. Imagine that someone might do some lasting damage to him, eh?

Can anyone photo-shop (or whatever the technical term for it is) a pair of bananas into the hands of Bale celebrating in that second picture of the daily mail link above. It would make his monkey-face pose look even more authentic!! 8)

Funny, I recall many, many pundits / players saying that the only way to play against us (when we were still good) was to "get in their faces, go in hard, not let them play, put in an early tackle, let em know you are there", etc etc all of which mean't "give them a kicking" which nobody batted an eyelid about and if we didn't like it we we soft, moaning minnie, who needed to man up as it is "all part of the game" bla bla bla,

I particularly remember that attention starved arsehole Chris "Do you love me now Daddy?!" Kamara sneering about how our "foreigners" didn't like it put up to them (usually whilst verbally sucking the cock off Allerdyce or Pullis) and now the dizzy cuntwhack dedicates a quarter of Goals on Sunday to "proving" that decent honest British Monkeyhead Bale is not a diving cheat but is "just trying to avoid injury by thugs".

Didn’t even have to wait until the games kicked off this time, he did it in training!

That said, I’m not overly bothered, he’s been pretty average since he signed his new contract and from what I heard the Ox was looking better against Swansea so it might give him a run in the team. Maybe a couple of weeks out won’t do him any harm if it refreshes him for the end of the season push.
