LIVERPOOL THE PEOPLES CLUB

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The whole area took a nose dive from the early eighties onwards as smack and unemployment devastated the whole of liverpool .
Whilst Liverpool FC may have contributed to the areas decline its a bit much to blame them for the general decline of the neighbourhood FFS . One of the most ancient and disgusting estates on the planet is only down the road (everton valley).
The council themselves used to board up the residences because they couldn't afford to repair them in the Hatton era so its no new thing .
Besides most if not all of this happened way before the current Owners came in and a lot before the last Owner did too.

Be careful what you say swimmer, after Maggie Thatcher and Slur Ferguson, somewhere in Liverpool is a scouser with one wish left.

Edit: just read this in another post, and my mate who text it to me claimed to have made it up!

You spelt his surname wrong, maybe you should practice by entering a spelling bee, or perhaps you are not thinking straight because you are injured? Some nurse the correct way to do it, to make it right.
