Urawa Red Diamonds friendly thread?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We have 11 leaders on the pitch according to Lord Wenger.

Bad defending by Arsenal at the front post.
It's as if the new season has begun already.

I like Akpom. He's got 4 goals on the tour. I wonder if Sanogo is any better than him.

at least he's lucky...

Not seen the goals, but from your comment above, perhaps "luck" is actually poacher's instinct? - the art of being in the right place at the right time? - maybe Akpom is the new Inzaghi? :rubchin:

I too missed the first 30 minutes but watched almost all the rest of it - normally I hate pre season games but there was a bit of bite in this game to the point that in the 2nd half we started to give away petulant free kicks which were unnecessary in a friendly like this :o Wally showed up what he is all about......the most average 100k per week footballer the world has ever seen  I cannot understand how some fans continue to suggest that the guy is a centre forward when he neither has the instinct nor the consistant composure to play there
