Our 1st 10 games in AW's last season-Prediction

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

true, with current squad Giroud is absolutely key
but I still expect us to buy a striker

1 away goal last season. If we don't recruit a striker would you be happy with our front line? It looks weak to me.

been weak for a long time IMO. VanStaplecunt staying fit for a whole season was a miracle.
If he hadn't played 38 games we were reliant on Chamakh and Arshavin!

Hmm only two of us had this as a home draw. After today's shambles, I'm sticking with a draw v fulham.

Villa (H) L
Fulham(A) D
Scum(H) D
Sunderland(A) D
Stoke(H) W
Swansea(A) D
West Brom(A) W
Norwich(H) L
Crystal Palace(A) W
Liverpool(H) L

13/30 pts... I hope I'm just being pessimistic following todays game!

After today's result I wouldn't want to predict.anything... I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we end up mid table this season!

That's a big call. We haven't lost any opening home league games for 20 years.

A scraped 1-0 win at Fulham coupled with a glorious 4-3 aggregate win over Fenerbahce, two new signings from Lille and St Etienne who flatter to deceive in the Group stages and the chants of THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER will ring round the bowl by the end of September

Victory over Liverpool in that tenth game will be enough to have Patrick Barclay condemning all of you who booed today as morons

Aye sorry, only seen this after the match... it would have been a very different set of predictions had I came on here beforehand!

Swansea(A) 3pt
West Brom(A) 3pt
Norwich(H) 3pts

Liverpool(H) 3pt (Suarez to score a last minute own goal for Liverpool to hand us victory, in protest of them not letting him go).

Wenger has learnt his lesson, instead of the usual dross before matches [Such as just ''go out there and express yourselves'' and not proper training] he will adopt proper game plans for each opponent and rigorous training sessions. Each opponent will be analysed in 3D videos which will be shown to players. We will be more tactful a la Chelsea and still play the orgasm inducing football which has been missing the past 2 seasons.

In Wenger we trust.

Our next 10 games in AW'swan song season

Post by topgoon »

Gave up watching final score as Crooks makes me want to do acts of physical violence to my telly, so thought it's healthier to revisit this thread.

I am going to include cup games this time as after the next 10 we'll either be dosey-doe-ing around the 3rd/4th place VT( :barscarf: :barscarf: ) with the re dipping sh*te or trying to avoid the Europa.

Not over doing the pessimism but if AW can't understand what was wrong today and we all could then we have no hope. For what it's worth here goes

Manure(h)- draw
Red dippers FA cup(h)- draw we''ll lose the replay
Bayern Munchen narrow draw
Sunlun(h) win
Stoke CFC(a) draw
Swans(h) win
Bayern(a) heavy naïve defeat
Vermin(a) draw
Chavs(a) lose
Shitty(h) lose

This is based on what we've done so far this season. Turn over all but the top 2 and Everton at home draw away to the rest of the league and bow out tepidly in cups.
