As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I still firmly believe Moyes will fail at the Filth. He is not a big club manager. His whole psyche is based around the small club mentality (and yes Everton are now a small club). Like Fat Sam AllThePies, Moyes is a wheeler dealer, can get cheap players in and get the best out of them. But he has no idea how to mix it up with big name players and huge egos and real player power at a club. Ferguson was a crunt, but he knew how to man manage the big egos, he knew who to yell at, who to throw an arm around and who to kick a boot into the face of ( ). Moyes is very one dimensional; argue gruffly with everyone.
He also is now dealing with a dressing room full of winners. To that he brings what? A single Division 2 title. From 15 years in management? He will have to earn the players' respect, something Rednose had in abundance. He might ride lucky on the team he inherited this season but even then it's probably Rednose's weakest team in 25 years.
I'd be amazed if he is still in that job longer than 2 years tbh.

What I will enjoy though, is watching those utd fans squirm, bitch and moan when they go on a little run without winning anything after taking the piss outta us. They've had it so good the last 20 years, those plastic *word censored* don't know the meaning of a barren run. It will happen though, maybe not for 10/20 even 30 years, but it will happen.
Not the ones I know, if United have a barren run the plastics over here will drop them and jump on the next available bandwagon...the genuine United fans will stick with them but the number of them in Ireland would half in a season.
I have to say I quite enjoyed Mourinho the first time round but he really is a despicable crunt of the highest order at times. The football was dire and with the resources he has at his disposal to set up like that with Schurrle as a lone / false striker was so fucking negative its untrue. His whole antics around winding up oppo managers, his endless comments about Rooney etc - he really is a fucking WUM of the highest order
Very successful, very strong manager but easy to hate

Re the "can get cheap players in and get the best out of them but has no idea how to handle the big ego's" comment, does that remind you of any other manager ?

With the only difference being that Arsene can't get the best out of most of them anymore....
Yes it was a shit game. But it means nothing to us.Both teams will be fighting for the title while we are fighting for 4th.The games that matter to us are the Spuds and Liverpool games
I love it when people slag off the players of Utd and Chelsea all those winners in both teams

God forbid anybody should post anything other than a post moaning about how shit we are
Didnt love the game but give me 0-0 results between all our rivals all season long and im happy - that's 4 cumulative points dropped right there and Cardiff's win is the cream. Surely Spurs can't win on the back of 38 Soldado penalties (although i did back him for top goal scorer - business is business).
Rooney is an enigma but good on him for his efforts - gave everyone something to think about when he could have just sat in the corner. I hope he stays there and unsettles RVP to be honest.
Moyes - nah, not the right fit.
Mourihno - if he were ours we'd adore him. BUT how the hell is he going to keep that squad happy with all the talent and only 11 starting spots. Complete opposite of us.
Thank fuck Mourinho's back, i'd been suffering with insomnia.
It certainly is near the top of that list Absolutely shite game which was matched by poor substitutions and even poorer refereeing - rvp, hazard, lumpolard, cleverly (surely the surname is a piss take ? ) were all absolute garbage and yet only hazard was subbed and that was only cos it was 2 minutes into injury time and he was the furthest player away from the subs area. The first two bookings were an absolute scandal especially when you consider that they followed two shocking tackles (Valencia's tackle on Oscar springs to mind).
I could be very wrong but I don't see the chavs finishing any higher than 3rd - last year at this point I argued that (with mata, oscar and hazard) their balance was all wrong but now they have added schurle, de bruin and willian to the mix and it is getting very crowded. Personally I also think that the smug portugese wa***er has lost his mojo - to me it looks like his time in Madrid has shaken his confidence and belief and I don't see him winning too many mind games this season
I expect Mourihno is still working on getting all 11 working in defence. Im very confident they will win the title.
Personally I reckon Moronio and his chavs will win it tbh. He is a total arsehole and just the sound of his voice and his stupid comic-egotist statements make me want to cut my own throat but tactically he is a super-pragmatist; he knows when to go at a team and he knows when to park the bus and choke the life out of a game. Moyes won't outsmart him the way Ferguson might have. My money's on the chav winning it... or maybe Citeh buying it in January with £100million spent on new players....
