DB10 on talksport

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He is also going to be with Wrighty after 5pm on Absolute radio (along with Piers Morgan but you can't have everything)

Heard him on 5Live last night, interviewed by Keown, he made no secret of his desire to become a coach at Arsenal.

Even better he's said he's been in contact with some of the old boys (Adams, Henry etc..) and is trying to get them all back to Arsenal. My love for the man grows more and more! :barscarf:

I'd love to have him back as a coach, especially if he could drag some more of the legends back with him too.

Problem is they'd all have opinions, and whenever someone offers Arsene an opinion on how to do things, he just sticks his fingers in his ears and goes "lalalalalala I'm not listening!" He hates it when those who haven't worked a day in football do it, but he does it to those have have too.

He did say that he is not looking to become a manager - he enjoys the role of coaching but wouldn't like the overall mental drain of being the boss.

I could never really see him as a manager. From interviews and stuff like that he doesn't seem to have that aura about him in my opinion. He's just a shit hot cog in the machine who does his thing behind the scenes. I would love him to become a coach for us in the future.

DB10 is certainly doing the rounds, he is on 5live with Gary Richardson from 9am. For those whose children don't get them up at 7am on a bloody Sunday, there's normally a podcast of his show.

Good idea Chippy, listened to 2 of the interviews and its pretty much the same thing. Missed Keown's and Wrighty's which were probably the better ones. Ginger nut and his illiterate sidekick just tongue rimmed him even though they spend most of their time slagging off his former team and fans......gutless w**kers.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but DB10 was also interviewed on Sky Sports News on Friday evening (by Geoff Shreeves). Was pretty decent, and ran for about 20 minutes or so.

There's a brief clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfY8Je7YwdA

Didn't hear the radio but managed to catch him on Football Focus. Magical, would love to have him back in any capacity when Wenger goes.

Anyone else been listening to Wrighty on Sunday's 5 live "606" He is easily the most knowledgeable pundit I've heard on the show in a long time.
I'd stopped listening to the show because I couldn't bear to listen to the absolute shite spouted by the likes of Savage and that fucking idiot spoony.

Wright talks a lot of sense but also talks a lot of complete rubbish imo - although I have to credit the bloke for having the balls to call it as he sees it (by and large without an agenda) because there are very few TV/radio figures who'll do that when it comes to football. Wrighty will say what he thinks without regard for what it does to his career in the media and popularity so whilst I often disagree with some of the stuff he comes out with fair play to him.

Because of the way he is he's never going to be taken seriously by your straight-up pundits like Lineker, Hansen etc and he just gets invited onto mainstream shows every so often so that they can have a laugh at him and create some discussion and publicity around any controversial things he says.

He put me right off, could never understand the point of having him on, knew as much about football as Mike Parry when he was on Talk sh*te. The extent of his football knowledge was being a London based Red dippers fan
