Really looking forward to this one now, think it'll be a high scoring and exciting game that we'll edge 3-2. :barscarf:

A 4-0 win, Podolski and Szczesny putting a good word in and the chance to play in a potentially title winning team will hopefully be enough to lure him. :D

Definitely our biggest test of the season thus far. We're on a roll though, so I'm expecting a home win.

3-1 (to us)
Lewandowski won't score as he won't want to upset his future team mates! :barscarf:

Lewandowski hasn't agreed anything with Bayern, his own words. Also, he can't sign a contract until Jan. He's good enough that we should make every effort to sign him.

Dortmund are a very good team and I'd be happy with 3 points from the two games.

Agreed 100%, would be a great addition. Would much, much prefer him to the cannibal or the granny shagger, no contest.

Walcott suffers further injury setback

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that winger Theo Walcott has suffered a setback in his recovery from injury and will be out for at least another fortnight.

Walcott was expected to make a return to the Gunners squad for the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night, but he is now two weeks away from his recovery from a stomach injury.

"He had a setback," Wenger told reporters. "He had to stop, to jog again. I don't think we will see him against Dortmund, nor Crystal Palace nor Chelsea. He is at least two weeks away now."

In this case I think Wenger is not telling the truth.
Walcott had surgery last week of September, there was never a chance he would be ready to play until mid November.

This has all the makings of a game that can make us real contenders for trophies this season (not the champs league trophy of course), but it also has the potential to bitch slap us down and remind us how far off the top teams we really are. We are a very good team on an excellent run and are displaying tons of confidence as well but dortmund are also a fine side and you dont achieve the success that they have had in recent years without being able to go to places like this and come away with a positive result.

Overall I do feel that we will beat them - in recent seasons we have got good results against them when we had inferior teams to the one we have now and when they have had stronger teams than they have now. The one player that really worries me though is reus - he is pacy, direct and can both create and score goals and if he gets the time and space then he could fcuk us over. Flamoney will be detailed to nullify him imo and he is a a walking timebomb in games like this (for a red card) and that worries the bejesus out of me.

2-1 to The Arsenal with ramsey (who else) and BFG getting the all important goals 8) :barscarf:

I am not sure that Flamoni is going to be fit, - was a nasty head injury, had double vision. As per usual he didnt go in lightly for a 50 50 ball.

Big blow, but would be unwise to play him with the next few matches coming up in fast sucession.

Cant understand why we were told walcot didnt have a hernia op- clearly thats what it was and surely its better to give a longer anticipated time off and if hes back sooner its a bonus :x
