As much as Ozil has been coasting the last few games, the man has 7 assists in a team where all the midfielders are creative and in his first season in a tough physical league after the stroll that is La liga.

The only player ahead of him is Granny shagger and let's face it, Shrek doesn't create for that lot and they are waiting for Januzaj or Young to dive.

Putting him on that list is embarrassing.

My list in no order are Chadli,Soldado(£26million wtf for  :banghead: ),Van Dog's todger, Aspas,Dozy Altidore,Sakho(the red dippers one, v dodgy defender).Danny Osvaldo,Eto'o Dimichelis,Giacherini.

Giacherini surprises me as he looked a very good player at the Confeds cup and he has had a decent run in the Sunlun team and yet I think he has about one assist. Probably not helped by the fact that he's aiming for Dozy Altidore but even still. Eto'o's been crap, shadow of his former self.

Special mention for Mignolet as a candidate for flop buy especially as Dippers got rid of Reina who will give away 2 goals a season and bought Mignolet who seems to give away a goal a game lately.

Seems like a century ago that everyone was waxing lyrical about dippers solid start to a season being built on their 'excellent' defence, now the worst defence in the top 6

I can't put Lamela there because he is a good player not being allowed to get a run in the team Dela Soul man can't be in there either as he's been injured most of his time here.

Way too early in the season to label any player a transfer flop and there is no doubt that ozil's name shouldnt be anywhere near that list

Is this a list of players we should have signed according to 1989 or players that we are now saying are shite. Sorry but I'm struggling to spot the difference

Including Ozil is pretty embarassing. It goes without saying that he should be nowhere near that list - especially one put together by an Arsenal fan.

I agree - how he can be on a list that includes the likes of fucking Lamela who has barely kicked a ball, and the useless Belgian lump at Man U who has tried his best to kick a ball but normally connects with an opponent is beyond me

Ozil hasn't been his brilliant best for the past couple of months but has still shown more in that time than all of those other useless *word censored* put together

Ozil can't be doing that bad, looking at the top midfielders in the fantasy football league he is in the top 5

only Yaya Toure, Ramsey, Hazard and Nasri above him.

Jovetic hasn't hardly played this season - just 5 games due to calf and Hamstring problems, not sure we can write him off yet - though given the huge fee and 120k a week wages that a flop for most normal clubs.

to be fair to the OP the thread title is "so far" but not a chance Ozil is on there though. he has faded due to lack of rest and thats to be expected.

imho you can only judge a new player after two whole seasons - we've had one season wonders and slow starters before.

I still like Giroud :-P

From what I've been hearing and reading Medel has been playing well and it is considered that he has been a good buy for Cardiff. :?

He has been a good signing. Aggressive, tough tackling, high energy defensive midfielder in the Flamini mould. The Cardiff owner is disappointed though because he hasn't scored any goals.
